Having seen some posts recently I thought I would share this video. Apparently I live in a nature depleted landscape in which I have helped to create as a farmer, I beg to differ. It's just my perspective as someone who understands how to produce food sustainably. National Farmers' Union

@NFUtweets Surely this is what a UK beef farm looks like?? 🤷♂️

@ShtBlackwood @NFUtweets Absolutely beautiful. Stunning I would say. Thank you for what you do. You make the world a better place and many of us support you! God Bless!

@NFUtweets Farmers often get blamed for the loss of wildlife. How much wildlife do you see on a plastic grass lawn? Rubber crumb is so toxic for our environment that other more sensible countries have banned it.

@NFUtweets I was in Northumberland recently and travelled around a bit. It was fabulous and so alive @sussexfarming

@jemmm85517813 @NFUtweets Beautiful scene and best of all, calves allowed to remain with their mothers. Knowing that all too often newborn calves are taken from their mothers so that we can take the milk, breaks my heart.

@NFUtweets Dairy industry is an inefficient way of producing food. Meat and dairy are planet demolishers.

@NFUtweets 100s of grassland species reduced to 3 half of the world's land biomass is cattle wild mammals make up a tiny fraction- in the UK our pets weigh more in total than wild mammals

@NFUtweets Plastic grass lawns and paved gardens are far worse for nature. Wildlife like hedgehogs need our gardens for food and to travel away from roads to find mates and for a place to hide.

@NFUtweets I and my children survived under the rubble. We live without bread. They bully me because of my poverty. I'm sick and I support them. What did I do to deserve losing everything? You are my strength, brothers and sisters. Please support my campaign:

@NFUtweets It's nice to give farm animals some trees and bushes to shelter under from sunshine to downpours.

@NFUtweets Lovely.

@NFUtweets 85% of land used in the UK is for feeding animals.

@NFUtweets 70% of my farm is only suitable for grazing livestock and the other 30% benefits form the livestock keeping my soil health and fertile, how would you farm and produce food sustainably? Without remnant livestock ?

@NFUtweets Oh God, I wish I could see this with my children. We've lost everything, even joy, and even bread isn't available.

@ShtBlackwood @NFUtweets It looks healthy and beautiful. Keep going! Nature is life.
