Having seen some posts recently I thought I would share this video. Apparently I live in a nature depleted landscape in which I have helped to create as a farmer, I beg to differ. It's just my perspective as someone who understands how to produce food sustainably. National Farmers' Union

Bessent: The definition of a farmer is someone who owns a farm and farmed the land so as a former farmer I will tell you…. There is no doubt farmers have been struggling but there was a record crop last year and what to record crops lead to? Lower prices. Smith: I will take that back to my producers in Minnesota, that they have somebody in this department of treasury, a former farmer, who is feeling their pain.

I recently set out on a mission to challenge people who painted me as racist. I have a need to be understood, but in a race to change my perception… I lost perspective. It won’t happen again. I’ve let people misrepresent, misinform, & blatantly lie on me for years. I’ve ignored being called “race baiter”, because I know that game plan, but “racist” makes my skin crawl. I tried to force people that critiqued me to move as I do. I thought those who majored in using my name for clout would welcome an open conversation. That’s not how life works. I’ll address some things & people, I’ll tell the truth, & then I’ll move on. I want to see everybody win. I want to win, but not at the cost of peace. Which I’ll protect moving forward.
