@myuea @LGHendersonUtah Congratulations to them on gathering that many signatures, but they certainly have their work cut out for them persuading a majority of voters in a conservative state to support restoring something controversial and left liberal (public sector unions) that even FDR opposed.

What a day for Portland, Oregon! More than 62,000 signatures gathered in just a few short weeks. Today, those petitions were officially delivered for verification. If 41,000 signatures are verified, Portlanders will have the opportunity this November to vote on minimum police staffing, funded by a portion of surplus from the Portland Clean Energy Fund revenue. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this happen!

The reason Governor Cox is on the primary ballot is because he collected signatures. There is an active criminal investigation in Wash County against the same company Governor Cox paid to collect signatures. Extreme lack of transparency with this process. The public has zero access to these signatures. WHY!? 1)We don’t know how many were turned in. 2)We don’t know the rate of verification. 3)They were all verified by a single office. Where is the media who’s supposed to ask these questions to get answers for the public? We are told to blindly trust, where’s the verification that should come with this? These signatures may be legitimate. But how can we be certain? The public deserves transparency in our elections processes! #utpol #electiontransparency #LymanforGovernor

Migrants in Utah can recieve in-state tuition, driving priviliges, medicare (supposedly only for children) and much more... I met many migrants that have been sent to Utah from NYC and many as well that came straight from the border (both are in this video). It's hard to say whether or not Utah is actually a sanctuary state from the claims Gov. Unfortunate news out of Oregon today. Marion County Judge David Leith (appointed by Gov. John Kitzhaber) ruled the gas tax referendum will stay on the May ballot instead of November — despite 250,000+ signatures gathered for a November vote.
