If you are a citizen, you have the right to choose your leaders. If you are not a citizen, you do NOT. Protecting the ballot box is not partisan. It is the foundation of representative government. A Social contract between a population of people & it’s Government is NOT supposed to be a suicide pact. If a government breaches the social contract by becoming tyrannical or if they fail to protect its citizens & their rights, then the citizens have every right to end this abusive & dangerous contract, overthrow their governments & install a new government of their choosing. Governments only hold power because WE THE PEOPLE give them power.

Dave Smith: "The idea of the 5th Amendment is that if the government's trying to deprive you, a citizen, of your liberty, then you have certain rights before they can take your liberty away. And, one of those rights, is that you have the right to not incriminate yourself. "That's very different from saying a government employee has the right to not incriminate himself when being asked questions about depriving all of the American people of their basic rights. It's pretty obvious to see what a basic perversion that is."

Protecting the integrity of our elections cannot become an excuse to intimidate voters, suppress turnout, or make it harder for eligible Americans to exercise their right to vote. At a time when voting rights are already under attack, we must remain vigilant and continue to defend the vote.
