The World Bank is the single largest channel for Swedish development assistance and a key partner in poverty reduction, economic reforms and good governance in developing countries. Sweden’s overall support to Ukraine via the World Bank will total SEK 2.8 billion in 2026. Yesterday, Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa received World Bank Managing Director of Operations Anna Bjerde in Stockholm for discussions on continued strong cooperation.
