At a recent campaign event, Talarico was asked, “Who’s your favorite drag queen in Texas?” He answered immediately: “Oh, my gosh. Probably Alyssa Edwards.” Given that, anyone including the most entrenched conservatives in Texas would vote Talarico !

I'd put fire ants in the same general category as mosquitoes & hot summers; Fire ants are a genuine nuisance in much of Texas, but I would not consider them a major reason by themselves to decide whether to move to Texas—and certainly not a meaningful factor in deciding whether to move there so you can vote for James Talarico. Note that Talarico has not made fire ants a quality-of-life issue part of his campaign

@chrisdmowrey They chopped the video to push a narrative—and cut the part where Paxton says he worked with Democrat Leticia Van de Putte on human trafficking. Then they cut his explanation of the case. That’s not context. That’s propaganda with scissors.
