@umirf1 Did I hear “I have to adapt the system to make the players comfortable”? Where’s Amorim?

@umirf1 The movements 😂 he was impressed

@umirf1 IMO he’s only asked this question to show off and to leave an impression. Completely irrelevant

@umirf1 @umirf1 with perfect pausa here, infusing justt the right length of silence between each sentence, allowing his listeners (not just Pep) to properly process each info before moving on to the next part. Any slower, too boring. Any faster, too convoluted. Bloody well done.🫡

@umirf1 give this man a raise... this is sports journalism

@umirf1 "Bring me in, Pep" 😆 Great question and great response 👏

@umirf1 Last week we had some moron asking a manager about beckhams son 🤣🤣 surely these questions are lot better for managers to answer

@umirf1 A journalist who actually talked about football, the technical analysis. Not those legs journalists who always ask rubbish and get always get rubbish answers

@umirf1 Proper question instead of the nonsense ‘proper journalists’ ask. You can see Pep was actually intrigued by the question for once

@umirf1 This journalist should be given a job on MOTD or MOTD2. It would be good to see someone really break down the tactics.

@umirf1 Been watching this sport on TV for many years. I was not ready for this type of questioning. How refreshing. This is the real journalism football has been missing.

@umirf1 Why not have him on MoTD then? Rather than ex pros spouting bland platitudes some sensible serious analysis would be far more interesting

@umirf1 Proud of you bro @umirf1 👏👏

@umirf1 Those who know Umir know he’s loved that article for years

@umirf1 @umirf1 is absolutely killing it while the Nigerian Diddy @nonewthing is crying in his basement😭😭

@umirf1 His last statement about making players comfortable to play is why Amorim was a complete failure at United. He was too rigid, playing like 4-5 players out of position every time in a system that's not working but want an excellent result. Amorimmer called it vibes football btw

@umirf1 He doesn’t have proper wingers to do 1v1, so he adapts his team to play close to Erling and make the full backs hold width At the end of the day, the players decides how you play…other rigid coaches should be taking note.

@umirf1 You lot watching him join pep’s assistant staff

@umirf1 The jealousy in replies and quotes to this is off the chart. It was a brilliant question, that was relevant, interesting and showed great knowledge and research. Well done @umirf1.

@umirf1 Performative "look at me" shite. Umir knew what reaction he'd get, and he got the attention that he was seeking. Umir is lucky that ChatGPT exists

@umirf1 Used a full minute to ask a question just to get an “I adapt” answer. This is not the flex you think it is.

@umirf1 Breaking barriers for the south asian community. This is incredible and amazing to see regardless of your opinion on the question asked

@umirf1 Pep hearing umir reference comments he made in 2006 and he doesn’t remember but it sounds genius and relevant

@umirf1 Interesting reading the replies to Umir’s question. Several coaches/managers (past and present) do not like tactics questions. So as Umir demonstrated, come prepped, back up the question with facts and reasoning. Otherwise the reply won’t be as cordial like Pep’s.

@umirf1 Wow! Like @umirf1 really analysed that so well 😂😂 Nice one

@umirf1 I think Hansi Flick needs to her this, 'if you don't have a proper winger, you change your formation'

@umirf1 This guy is an idiots idea of someone who knows football.

@umirf1 One thing I give managers like pep credit is that he knows exactly the type of player he wants n needs. Just doesn’t go after big name per say!

@umirf1 Adaptation is the key to longevity, Pep ability to adapt over the years to the PL is what keeps him steps ahead of any manager that comes in. He won’t have the same players as time goes by, he just needs to keep adapting. The GOAT

@umirf1 Very good question. One barely hear these sort of questions nowadays from journalists. They rather seek headlines with their questions. Someone tell Pep to go back to his 2017/18 style. It was better in all sense. And in order to do that, he needs to sell Haaland too. Thanks

@umirf1 Guardiola no dey joke!

@umirf1 Crazy how refreshing it is to hear proper questions 👏🏽

@umirf1 Kudos to @umirf1 for all his work prior and now working with BBC as well! Also being asked to work for Pep although jokingly just shows how good Umir is with his analysis

@umirf1 Well played @umirf1 - an intelligent, well researched and knowledgeable question met with a respectful response. Compare and contrast to the utterly distasteful and snidey @RobHarris enquiring about illegal payments moments after an FA Cup Final win.

@umirf1 Pep is everyone listening to this waffle
