He also stated that he recieved a very good reaction when he approached African governments to get support for African Americans. This effort to twist history to make it seem that Malcolm X wasn't a Pan-Africanist is dishonest and disrespectful to Malcolm's legacy.

Notice most these people don’t have profile pictures!

Recently finished this book. It's one of the BEST books I've ever read about Malcolm X, MLK, and that era. It makes your point all too clear. But I knew much of this growing up during The 60s and via My Grandfather, living in Harlem anyway. It was pretty much "common knowledge".

Malcolm X was certainly a pan-africanist however we're dealing with completely different factors today we're fighting against cultural Erasure and ethnocide illegal immigrants and first Generation are being weaponized against us cultural and ethnic delineation is necessary

He was limited on information we didn’t even get DNA test till 80s and even they flawed. It’s weird how people use euro-centric pan-Africanism based on pan-Slavism. & not the afro-centric pan-African nationalism. African scholars even call this out as excuse to not do latter.

..BAs can’t keep arguing about the past as a progressive ppl, the time when Malcolm X was alive is wwaayy different than the times of today whether we agree with him or not, times have changed and hindsight taught us not to be so forgiving coping pleas won’t change that

💯

I don't give a fck what Malcolm was on. He lived in a different time and had limited access to what we know now and practiced a slave religion when he knew we are the children of Israel. No one is beyond reproach and all we can do is learn where he got it wrong. Shalom

“Keep your politics out of our kids’ cartoons!” Meanwhile this is what they grew up on:

Black Panther Party explaining the importance of building health clinics for the community. More important than ever with the passing of the BBB

Happy independence day 🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻 #kriola #CapeVerde #5thofjuly

When she looks in the mirror, she doesn't see a black woman, which perfectly explains her disdain for Africa/Africans.
