Robin Williams was sober for 20 years... then one thought in a small Alaskan town undid it all. In this interview, the comedian traces the full arc of his history with addiction: how it started, how he quit the first time, why he relapsed after two decades, and what finally broke the grip for good. It began early in his career, with cocaine. People asked why a man that fast ever needed it. His answer flips the assumption on its head: "I think I did it because it would actually allow me not to talk. It was like, you know, reverse medication... It just kind of shuts you down, which is a, you know, word: self-medication." The first turning point came in the early 1980s. Two things changed his thinking: the death of his friend John Belushi from an overdose, and the news that he was about to become a father. "I remember stopping it on my own because I was about to have a son... You don't want to be like that." On Belushi's death, he says it was the beginning of "thinking outside the box of 'you've got a responsibility and it's more than you'." He quit alone, without help. And it held for 20 years. Then came the relapse. "I was in a little town in Alaska. It wasn't the end of the world, but you can see it from there, and it was like all of a sudden I thought I could drink. It's also that same thought you have if you look off a large building and go, 'I can fly'. And within a week it was like gone." He calls the aftermath a gift: "Now, you know, I realize I can't." The second recovery looked nothing like the first. This time he went to rehab, and he learned why doing it alone had been the harder road. Surrounded by doctors and psychiatrists in treatment, he noticed a pattern: "The more intelligent you think you are, the harder it is to let go. Everything: 'I've got a solution, I'll just drink a little bit'." The lesson he lands on is surrender: "You gotta just say, 'I can't do it'... And then you have to go, 'Nope, you lose, you can't do it. You need help'. And at that point, that's the beginning."

Osita Iheme is trending because Nigerians are saying Happy 44th birthday to Pawpaw, the nollywood icon and King of Memes. His meeting with Chinedu Ikedieze is what you could describe as Divine. In Aba whenever Aki went to the market to get clothes, the seller would say, “you were here yesterday and asked me to keep this clothe for you.” Aki who was definitely not at the market prior, would collect it. When PawPaw comes for it, they’d tell him “but you were here yesterday to collect the cloth.” It kept going on and on until one day. Aki waited at the market to see this his mysterious twin. He saw pawpaw from a distance, knew he was the one immediately. They spoke, bonded immediately and become friends and went on auditions together. On an audition, their chemistry was uncanny. They kept correcting and completing each other’s line like it was part of the script. Producer, late Chukwuka Emelionwu noticed it, pulled them out, assured them their pairing would not be wasted. That was how Aki Na Ukwa was created with Late Amaechi Muonagor as their father, and they went global in 2002. Sam Loco late became their on screen father, because he was a comic actor and Amaechi wasn’t. The duo later went on to do over 150 movies together. Which resulted to Paw-Paw becoming the meme king in 2019, as he had a face for ‘every’ reaction, mood or feeling. Most of their movies felt like a compilation of skits. So we made a 7minutes comp for you. Enjoy! Follow Trending Explained for daily explanations!

An 18 year old told his dad he needed an Apple Vision Pro for university. Dad said that's a $3,500 movie headset, you don't need it for school. He said it runs macOS apps natively. Dad didn't know what that means. Bought it for graduation. $3,500. He never watched a single movie on it. Installed VS Code and Claude Code the same night. Threw six floating screens around his bedroom. Lay down in bed and started coding from under the sheets with his bare hands tapping air. His roommate walked in at 2am and saw him lying in bed wearing a headset waving his hands at nothing. Thought he was losing his mind. He was building a client website. At second 0:11 you can see his hand swipe across a floating file explorer. Behind it five more windows are open. All running Claude Code agents on different projects. One building, one testing, one deploying, one reviewing, one handling client messages. All floating above his bed like a command center in a sci-fi movie. The website color change was the demo he filmed. The five windows behind it were the actual business. Within a month he was running projects for seven clients. A restaurant site, an appointment app for a dentist, a landing page for a real estate agent, a dashboard for a gym owner. All built from bed. All coded by Claude while he gave instructions by tapping floating windows above his pillow. $11,400 in his first month. His dad makes $9,200 at his engineering job. His dad called last weekend and asked if the headset was worth it. He said yeah the movies are great. His dad said good, at least you're relaxing after studying. He wasn't studying. He wasn't watching movies. He was lying in bed while five Claude Code agents built software in floating windows above his face. A developer in New York rents a $2,800 apartment just to have a home office with two monitors. This kid has six floating screens that follow him from bed to couch to kitchen and cost nothing after the headset. His mom asked to try the Vision Pro last Sunday. Put it on and saw six VS Code windows floating in the living room, git commits scrolling, Claude mid-task on three projects. She took it off and said I thought this was for watching movies. He said it is. Just not the kind she was thinking of. Setup time: one evening. Screens: six, floating, invisible to everyone else in the room. Money made in month one: $11,400. Movies watched: zero. His dad is still paying off the $3,500. The headset paid for itself in 9 days. Dad doesn't know that yet. He will when his son offers to pay him back.

Kevin O'Leary reveals the cruelest sentence of his life was the one that saved it. Kevin O'Leary said he has always wanted to be a photographer. He was already working as a cameraman, ready to bet his life on a lens. His stepfather sat him down and said: "I'm sorry, but you're just not good enough. You don't have what it takes to survive against the level of quality that's out there." Kevin calls it the harshest sentence anyone ever delivered to him. He also calls it the most important one. He went back to school. Got a business degree. Started a production company called Special Event Television out of spite — but he didn't put himself behind the camera. He hired a real cameraman. He learned to edit. He sold the company. That was his first deal. The thing he took from that day became his operating system: knowing what you're bad at matters more than knowing what you're good at. Logistics bore him, so he gives up equity to anyone who can do it. He stays in marketing because that's the only seat where he compounds. Then he stopped pretending. The cruelest sentence of his life was the one that saved it. P.S. Pull the thread on any story like this and you'll find the hidden incentive at the other end. As Munger said: "Show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome." So I wrote a short book on how to spot them and design your own. Comment "INCENTIVES" and I'll send you the details. If you're new here, follow GeniusThinking for content on the greatest minds in economics, psychology, and history. — Kevin O'Leary ( Kevin O'Leary aka Mr. Wonderful ), chairman of O'Leary Ventures and Shark Tank investor, on Graham Stephan's ( Graham Stephan ) and Jack Selby's ( Jack Selby ) Iced Coffee Hour podcast

Bitch, I do not play about eighth grade star aka opinions based girl….. yeah everybody’s laughing now, but it literally does not take away the fact that you are so fucking ugly like I had his ass blocked on my old account before I even saw this because every time he pops up on my for you page I just have to scroll because he’s so fucking ugly that it pisses me off he looks like he could be casted on Netflix and not in a good way. He seriously needs to find a new haircut because what the fuck is that middle part? and of course he’s a Nepo baby, and the best part is I just found out that he used to be fat, I bet he’s an anorexic asf lowkey all shade and that’s the only way his pathetic ass could lose weight and I know he didn’t use laxatives cause he’s definitely a bottom, the type that one bitch from White Lotus would say as a fem and NOT a butch. You can tell he wants to be Matthew from big mouth but he’s more of a Charlie from heartstopper, you can also tell that he’s never got his ass beat, well maybe once in middle school and then his white ass republican parents freaked the fuck out and got the kid suspended or some shit. Of course he’s obsessed with Diet Coke, he’s so obviously wants to be a white woman that it is embarrassing. Middle schoolers definitely go up to him and be like “oh my God you’re famous on TikTok” and he thinks he’s the shit but the rest of the population don’t give a fuck and the way his mom is a teacher…… I know that she probably yells at the fucking class for everything but really she’s just taking it out on these kids because she knows deep down that she wishes her son was like them instead of a fucking loser who makes strawberry bagels on TikTok not to mention everybody praised him for doing angel tree, bitch that’s nothing he probably just used some of his allowance money to look like a good person so y’all bitches would suck his dick. Omg in all of his fucking videos he tries to sound cute with that feminine ass voice and it gives me a secondhand embarrassment down. he thinks he’s Troye Sivan, but he will never admit that he probably listens to fucking country music and Taylor Swift so he can fit in with all of his Christian girl friends and that’s it. You can tell he peaked in high school. He was definitely the “token gay” and the homophobic straight boys loved him because he was “funny“ but it was all surface level, TikTok humor that seems funny to them. of course he reposted something about drinking on antidepressants. Just because you had a white claw and some lexapro(which explains why he used to be fat as fuck) doesn’t make you whatever a fucking vibe you’re trying to go for. He looks like he jerks off to the Lululemon maternity catalog while pretending he’s Harry Styles. I saw on TikTok that he has a girlfriend and I can’t tell if it’s just for attention or if he’s actually still dl so that his parents don’t freak the fuck out on him and he has to get a real job. This one girl posted him on TikTok, shaking his hips and drinking wine…… like who do you think you fucking are bro? like genuinely who the fuck do you think you are?🔑 he also reposted a TikTok about Lorde “looking a mess” I really don’t give a fuck if it was a joke. You have no place to be talking about somebody’s looks when he looks like that……. and y’all know what I mean, the type of guy who fucks all the dl in the room because he has zero confidence. The type of guy who has all the latest Apple products for no reason. I mean seriously he looks like he eats fucking rocks. Apparently he caused a lot of drama on TikTok (of course) and blamed his OCD like what kind of dumb ass excuse is that but then again he probably asked his mom what to say and then she sent him a script and he went with it. Somebody keeps on copying his videos and it’s pissing him off. I think it’s so hilarious…… you realize you’re just another copy and paste of every other wanna be “ influencer”. Don’t ever try coming for eighth grade start again.🔑🔑

Greatness recognizes greatness. Kobe Bryant: “Elon Musk is I think a genius by all accounts, but his commitment and his work… like I asked him one time about how does he learn. And the amount of research and the amount of study that he does is unheard of, but he’ll always say the most important thing is imagination. So you can learn anything that you want to learn, you can study all these things that you have in a book, but if you don’t have the imagination to then take it to another level, it doesn’t mean anything. I sat down and spoke with Elon for a couple hours. It was really, really a joy.” Interviewer: “So would you buy Tesla stock then?” Kobe Bryant: “I’ll buy into Elon.” The Mamba saw the vision early, a legend recognizing another one. One thing I’ve learned in life is that winners learn from winners. They study them. They spend time around them. They listen carefully to how they think. Losers in life usually do the opposite. They stay around other people who complain, make excuses, and stay stuck. That’s why people always say you become the average of the five people you spend the most time with. It’s real. If you surround yourself with greatness, ambition, and people who dream big, it starts to rub off on you. You begin to think bigger. Work harder. Expect more from yourself. It’s contagious. That’s why it matters so much who you listen to, who you follow, and who you choose to learn from. Greatness spreads. And once you’re around it long enough… it starts to become part of you.

Do you know where Jesus went after he died on the cross? A lot of people assume he went straight up to heaven and back into God's embrace. But that's not the full story. For three days after his death, he didn't immediately enter paradise. He descended into the depths of hell. Countless lost souls were there waiting for righteous judgment. Darkness ruled that place. Lucifer, the king of the shadows, sat on a throne of darkness, looking down on everything. His laughter echoed through the flames as he said, 'You died, you bled. This is my world and you just walked into it.' But Jesus did not bow to the darkness for the sake of those lost souls. He stepped straight into the fire himself. Light poured from him like a breaking dawn, flooding every corner of the abyss, forcing demons to bow like dust to the ground. His voice struck like thunder, ripping through the silence of death, and he declared, 'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.' In an instant, his proclamation shook the entire universe. The gates of hell shattered, chains snapped. Every imprisoned soul was set free. That voice broke hell's silence and crushed the power of darkness. Lucifer's throne turned to ashes. In a moment. He fell to his knees, eyes filled with shock and disbelief. 'That's impossible.' But Jesus's light swallowed every word he tried to speak, and both the darkness and the one who ruled it were forced to kneel before the Almighty. Then Jesus rose from the abyss holding the keys of death and Hades and every realm bowed and called him Lord. Darkness was defeated. Light 1. So Jesus went down to the darkest place, not to prove how strong he is, but to tell you this: no matter how deep your pit is, it is not the end, because he can rip open the door you thought you'd never escape. If you're walking through darkness, loneliness, fear, or you feel like your life has already been sentenced, drop this in the comments: 'Light wins.' And share this video with someone who feels like their life is already over so they'll know Jesus came back with the keys and the verdict can be rewritten.

This CIA veteran just alleged that he traveled 500+ years back in time. He spent months living as an ancient Orthodox monk. He met the spirit of the Virgin Mary. He learned to fly. When he returned, he traveled to the place he lived as a monk. What he found shocked him: Rolf Mowatt-Larssen discovered that his identity as a 14th century monk, Maximos of Kafsokalyvia, was a real person. Legends of Maximos as a “flying monk” were real. Rolf had no idea that Maximos was a real person. But everything about this 14th-century monk lines up with what Rolf experienced during his time travel. And he encountered the spirit of the Virgin Mary immediately after he returned to the 1990s. He saw a burning red light outside the church window on Mount Athos in Greece. So Rolf asked a monk named Timotheus about it, who told him “there are monks who have said they’ve seen this light of the Virgin Mary.” Timotheus told him: “I’m not gonna doubt it. Rolf just sat down with Jesse Michels to tell his incredible story: “It took me about seven years to go back” to Mount Athos after his time traveling experience. “I went back to Mount Athos, and back up the Holy Mountain, only because I felt the Virgin Mary would now be my guide.” “I end up at the bottom of this pier with a big walk up a side of a mountain.” “Coincidence is, this monk walks by with a donkey.” “And he goes, ‘why don’t you take my donkey to the top of the mountain?’” “The guy just slaps him on the rear, and off we go, and I’m straddling this donkey up this cliff.” “I get to the top of the mountain … I walk into the entrance of the skete, and this guy comes out and greets me, young monk, probably in his 30s.” “He goes, ‘let me tell you this history of this skete. It’s called the Skete of Kafsokalyvia … it’s named in honor of … Maximos the monk, he was known as a flying monk, and he burned his huts, and he had these miracles, and there were sightings of him flying.’” Rolf also recalled burning his huts during his time traveling experience as Maximos the monk. “I was gasping for air, just at the thought that I hadn’t made this up, this had a historical connection.” Michels: “You could literally Google Maximos Kafsokalyvia, and this is this flying monk from Mount Athos, and he was known for burning his huts.” “So it is fascinating that you went back in time, not having any context.” “And then you find real historical corroboration for this through happenstance.” What is your reaction to Rolf’s story? Robin Williams on the moment he relapsed after 20 years sober: The legendary comedian sat down for an interview and opened up about his decades-long battle with alcohol and cocaine, including the moment he broke a 20-year stretch of sobriety in 2010. When asked why he fell off, Robin describes a strange, almost out-of-body moment in a remote town: "I was in a little town in Alaska. It wasn't the end of the world, but you can see it from there. And it was like all of a sudden I thought I could drink. It's also that same thought you have if you look off a large building and go, 'I can fly.' And within a week it was like, gone, you know? And now, you know, I realize I can't. So that was the gift." Robin's history with substances went back decades. When asked if he could remember falling into the trap of cocaine and alcohol in the first place, his answer was striking: "I don't vividly remember anything from... it's like there is this thing for alcoholics called a blackout, which isn't really a blackout; it's more like sleepwalking with activities." He describes the blackout with his signature dark humour: "I believe it's your conscience going into a witness protection program going, 'You're about to have sex with a hobbit. I've got to go now. Good luck. I'm checking out. I'm leaving the body on, but we're not going to remember anything. Good luck to you, take care.'" What's remarkable is that Robin originally quit cocaine on his own, without any help, for a reason that had nothing to do with himself: "I remember stopping it on my own because I was about to have a son and I didn't want to be coked up going, 'Hey, dad loves you, here's a little switch, I'm going to throw up on you.' You don't want to be like that." The death of his close friend John Belushi from an overdose shook him, but Robin says fatherhood was the real turning point: "Totally. And that, but more importantly my son. I think that was the beginning of kind of, you know, thinking outside the box of, 'You've got a responsibility and it's more than you.'" When asked why he ever needed cocaine in the first place, given his already legendary speed and energy, Robin offered a surprising explanation: "I think I did it because it would actually allow me not to talk. It was like, you know, reverse medication. I want to give Ritalin to hyperactive children. It's that idea of kind of, 'Oh, okay, I don't have to talk to people.' It just kind of shuts you down, which is a, you know, word: self-medication." After his relapse in Alaska, breaking the grip the second time around required something he hadn't needed the first time: surrender. "Not hard once you go to rehab… the idea is you gotta surrender. You gotta just say, 'I can't do it.' Because, you know, I went to rehab with a lot of doctors and psychiatrists, and the more intelligent you think you are, the harder it is to let go." Robin captures the trap of intelligence perfectly: "Everything: 'I've got a solution, I'll just drink a little bit.' It's like saying, 'I'll just partially circumcise myself, I'll be fine.' And then you have to go, 'Nope, you lose. You can't do it. You need help.' And at that point, that's the beginning." Even after 20 years of sobriety, one quiet thought in a remote town was enough to undo it all. And the way back wasn't through willpower or intellect, but through admitting he couldn't do it alone.

This is one of the greatest displays of the creative process I’ve seen. It perfectly illustrates something many of my favorite artists have described. When you go to the studio, Mayer was asked, what do you do to generate ideas? “Well, I don’t always do it,” he admitted, “because it requires a stupid bravery all the time.” Mayer strums a couple chords without singing. A nice melody begins to form—“you can sit here all day [doing this] and go, ‘Okay, maybe that’s something.’” “But if you don’t go,” and then he starts improvising vocals, “Sunlights beating on the corner of the walls / and I’m a Mr. know-it-all / heaven calls / get yourself right / get yourself right,” he stops, raises his finger to his mouth, and explains, “if you’re not ouija boarding immediately, you’re wasting time.” “You just stare at the corner of the wall,” he says, before improvising some more, “Stare at the corner of the wall / try to get it going on / but I can’t sometimes / you just keep going 'til you get something / maybe I’m a little bit shy / maybe someday I’ll tell you why.” He stops singing to say, “you gotta keep forcing it, forcing it, forcing it. It doesn’t matter [what comes out of your mouth]...You gotta get fearless, fearless, fearless, fearless…It’s hard to do.” Takeaway: When talking about their creative processes, many artists describe something similar to what Mayer refers to as “ouija boarding”—spitting out words and phrases, without worrying if they’re good or even make sense). When asked where his ideas came from, Pablo Picasso said, “As soon as I start to work, [ideas] well up in my pen. To know what you’re going to draw, you have to begin drawing.” Joan Didion famously wrote, “I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking.” And Judd Apatow said that his movie scripts are all a product of the Down-Up theory: “Get the ideas DOWN then fix them UP.” “Give yourself permission to suck,” Apatow says. “Anything goes. Just get something down.” Make it exist, as they say, then make it good. There’s a neural explanation for this process... I recently shared a clip of Dr. Andrew Huberman explaining what happens in our brain when we sit down to focus. Whether we’re trying to read, write, create a song, or generate ideas—when you sit down and try to focus, Huberman explains, “The brain circuits that turn on first are of the stress system...The agitation and stress that you feel at the beginning of something—when you’re trying to lean into it and you can’t focus: you feel agitated and your mind’s jumping all over the place—that is just a gate. You have to pass through that gate to get to the focus component.” He uses a great analogy: “You have to wade through some sewage before you can swim in clear water. That’s the way I always think about it.” Essentially: you become creative by creating, you get more creative the more you create. At the start of a focused creative session, bad ideas almost always come out first. You just have to wade through the sewage of bad ideas, “just keep going ‘til you get something,” as Mayer sang, ‘til you reach clear water. - - - “You gotta keep forcing it, forcing it, forcing it...You gotta get fearless, fearless, fearless, fearless.” — John Mayer Follow Billy Oppenheimer for more content like this!

20th October 2020. A random guy that I didn’t know, stood in front of me. Gave me his space underneath a tyre of a parked truck at the Lekki Toll Gate and asked me to hide there. He kept saying, stay down there, don’t raise your head, stay low, don’t stand up. He stood up from that tyre and told me to stay there. He shielded me. A STRANGER. Not up to 5 minutes his blood splashed all up in my face, all I could see was his intestines on the floor. I couldn’t move, I looked in disbelief and I stood in shock. Up until this day, I don’t know his name, people there called him Ifeanyi. I don’t even know a family member to visit, to tell them your son saved me, your son shielded me. It should have been me. I could have been dead. He stood there and he was shot instead. He was taken to Reddington Hospital Victoria Island. Reddington Hospital claimed he was transferred to another hospital but they never told us where or when. I don’t know where he is. I don’t know if Ifeanyi survived or if he’s amongst those 103 dead bodies stolen by SanwoOlu from the toll gate and from hospitals. I looked everywhere. I went to all the hospitals searching. I just want to say thank you. I just want to say thank you for saving me. Everyone present on that day went through trauma. Everyone present has their own experience of pain from 20th October 2020. The memory of his face in pain could not make me ignore the panel and leave the country permanently. If everyone leaves, who’s going to speak for the dead in Court. To an extent, I wanted to see it through to the end and know that I tried. I wanted to stay back and fight for that justice and know that I did all I could. We went to Court, we won the case and up until today, Lagos Govt have refused to do any of the Justice stated by the court for them to do. It’s been 3 years and all we want is Justice for Lekki Massacre. That’s all we want. Justice for #EndSARS Justice for #LekkiMassacre

They tell you to fear the BULLY. Nobody warns you about the CHARMER. The dangerous one was never the man you boo. It's the man you CHEER. The people's champion. The warm smile you never look past. So look closer. Behind it sits an investigation into children being raped, switched off on his watch. 97 suspects. Walked free. And he wants to run the country. You think Starmer's bad? They're handing you worse, dressed as better. A friendly face, a northern accent, 25 years of buried scandals behind him. CHANGE, he keeps saying. Yet no one in politics has changed more. He's a CHAMELEON. Blairite under Blair. Hard left to chase Corbyn, then sat in his shadow cabinet anyway. People's champion today, because that's what sells today. Twenty-five years. Every position going. Never once a thing changed for YOU. Only to climb high, and this is his THIRD reach for the top. He lost in 2010. Lost again in 2015. And here he is, clawing back for one more go. It was never about serving you. It was always about the climb. He even named his politics. MANCHESTERISM. Not Blairite, not Brownite, not soft left. A flag with nothing on it, because a man who stands for nothing can never be pinned to anything. Immigration? He says he's heard you. That's the trick. Every time tougher enforcement came to a vote, he voted AGAINST it. He's called migration a simple good. He fought to make it EASIER to stay, not harder. He hasn't changed his mind. He's changed his act. Know what you're sold. A man FURTHER LEFT than Starmer. Read that again. More tax. More spend. More borrowing. His own voters say he'd march us back into the EU. Everything you voted to leave, handed back with that same warm smile. He's a COMPASS with the NEEDLE TORN OUT. Looks the part. Points wherever you turn him. Tells you NOTHING true. Not a way out. The same CAGE, friendlier paint. Because through all the changing, one thing NEVER changes. Who he protects. And it was never you. STAFFORD. 1,200 dead. Not from illness. From NEGLECT. Left in their own filth, some so thirsty they drank from flower vases, dying behind curtains while nobody came. He fought to keep the lid ON. Resisted the public inquiry. Decided the truth would do more harm than good. A minister looked at 1,200 dead and decided you were better off not knowing. The families fought him for YEARS to drag it into the light. OPERATION AUGUSTA. 2005. Men grooming and raping children across Manchester. Kids as young as TWELVE, in care, nobody coming for them. 97 suspects. 57 child victims. Then, SHUT DOWN. Not for lack of officers, they had a THOUSAND spare. They had the names. They had the children telling them what was being done to their bodies. Three charged. The rest walked. EIGHT abused again. The records naming who buried it? GONE. And the minister over it all, smiling at you now, calling himself your CHANGE? Andy Burnham. An investigation into child rape. Closed. And the man meant to be responsible for that city wants to be Prime Minister. Victoria Agoglia. Fifteen. In care. She told them a grown man was injecting her with heroin. Said it out loud. They heard her and did nothing. She died. Her family still waiting for an apology that never comes. One man won't let it stay buried. Raja Miah, an MBE who once advised government on safeguarding children, six years demanding a public inquiry. He says it was a cover up dressed as accountability. Survivors shut out. The powerful protected. He’s begged Burnham to face him. Burnham won’t. Happy for any camera that flatters him, gone when it matters. Ask yourself why. So here he is. The charmer. The change. Look past the smile, just once. Stafford. Augusta. Victoria. A trail of the failed, the buried and the dead, 25 years long. He changes his politics, his party, his face for the cameras. Never the one thing that mattered. Who he protects and it was NEVER you. They'll call him the change. He's the one thing in British politics that never changes.

Stanley Druckenmiller talks about Nvidia and how he "invests then investigates". Couldn’t “spell Nvidia” or didn’t know earnings but jumped in and made 6x in 2 years ($1B+ profit before exiting in 2024). How it went down: ▫️ Early 2022, started seeing Stanford students switch from crypto to AI projects. ▫️His "superstar" analysts brought this to his attention and he asked around Silicon Valley network about AI. ▫️Wanted to make an AI investment and his partner said Nvidia (Druck bought "enough to get hurt or make some money"…forced him to keep track). ▫️ChatGPT launches two weeks later...immediately realizes "enormity" of opportunity and Druck doubles the position. ▫️Listens to a Morgan Stanely macro analyst call and they mention AI bigger than any macro trend...Druck (after experiencing ChatGPT) doubles the position again. He’s fully bought into AI as a “massive massive change”. Pattern recognizing on previous major tech changes in his career, he knows Nvidia will keep running for at least 2-3 years as the rest of market catches up and re-rates. He holds even as his tech-expert investor network sells Nvidia. Expects to hold long-term but sells it all in 2024 at $800 a share (he got in $100-$150). Nvidia quickly runs to $1,400 and he “felt sick”. Says his biggest mistakes are always “selling too soon”, but that’s just part of game of investing for him. “My advantage is not IQ, it’s trigger pulling,” he says.

🤬 Burlison: Putting Lacatski Under Oath in a Hearing Wasn't a Top Priority Because He Wouldn't Say Anything New 🤬 (I can't believe I just heard that.) Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell: "Dr. James Lacatski came on our show. He ran the UFO program for the Defense Intelligence Agency, and he admitted on our show that they breached the hull of a UFO in government possession." Burlison at the Last Hearing: "You reported [that] James Lacatski came to you with government possession of NHI craft and how they ultimately gained entry. Can you testify to the veracity of that claim?" George Knapp at the Last Hearing: "Dr. Lacatski is an honorable man who served most of his career with the DIA. A very trusted, high-level rocket scientist and intelligence analyst who inspired the AAWSAP program, as I said earlier. He said this craft, we had managed to get inside of it. It had no wings, no rotor, no tail, it had no fuel, no fuel tanks. They didn't know how it flew or how it was operated. It clearly looked like it was aerodynamic, but he would not go further. He's a by-the-book guy, and until he gets clearance to say more about that, I don't think we're going to hear much more. "But, it's not ours. It wasn't ours. We didn't make it. We didn't know who made it and how it was built and how it operated. We've got at least one, and I don't know, I think that's enough confirmation that we do have recovered discs and material." (What is written in "Initial Revelations" about that alleged craft, and Lacatski standing by what was written when he was on "Weaponized" is one of the most important claims we've ever had in this field. I don't see it as confirmation that we have craft but we're getting closer. Lacatski saying that he saw it with his own eyes would take it up a notch, but I still wanna see it for myself, and not just in photos and videos. AI is just too good to accept that as proof.) Corbell: "So, and you put that in congressional record. Do you have a way that you can, you know, find out, where is it? He can't tell us, but maybe he can tell you? Where is that craft? Can you go hunt it down? Can you go see it?" Burlison: "You know, that's an interesting question. When it came to Lacatski - and I watched his interview that he did with you guys - and here's what my response to him is. Because he was frustrated that we hadn't reached out to him, but he also kind of, he also admitted that - which is what I was told, and the reason why we haven't reached out to him - is that he's not gonna tell us anything that's not in his books." (Most people on this planet have not read his books!) Corbell: "Well, hold on, hold on. You did reach out to him. There have been three hearings. I reached out to him on behalf of Congress, officially, twice, to say..." Burlison: "You did, that's right, you did." Corbell: "And I had congressional members talk with him the hearing before the last one. He just forgot. But the point is, is that maybe with you guys, in the correct environment, with the right clearances, he can tell you where it is, and you can just put this to bed and go find it." (I'm not against Congress talking to Lacatski in a SCIF, but, IMO, the chances that he tells members of the Secrets Task Force the location of this alleged craft are ZERO. Maybe Rubio would get an answer but he may already know. And if he (Rubio) does know, he's not telling us. At least not yet, and probably, IMO, never.) Burlison: "Yeah. And I remember that. I remember that he was one of the people that we had tasked you to go to reach out to. And for those people that are kind of asking how did that relationship work? Look, we don't have all the contact information for all these people. Why repeat the work that you two have done in building these contacts in your networks? And so, you, basically, patriotically dedicated your time, for free, helping us make contact and kind of coordinate some of those witnesses. (That was an awesome thing for Corbell and Knapp to do and it was for a great cause. The truth!) Burlison: "And I had been told Lacatski is probably not gonna reveal anything that he hasn't already revealed. When I've talked to people, it seemed like it wasn't gonna be new information. And therefore, to me, he wasn't as high of a priority." (He should have been THE priority, as far as witnesses for the hearing. With Lacatski, you have a respected rocket scientist, physicist and intelligence analyst, who has confirmed that this passage from Initial Revelations is accurate: “At the conclusion of a 2011 meeting in the Capitol building with a U.S. Senator and an agency Under Secretary, Lacatski, the only one of this book’s authors present, posed a question. He stated that the United States was in possession of a craft of unknown origin and had successfully gained access to its interior. This craft had a streamlined configuration suitable for aerodynamic flight but no intakes, exhaust, wings, or control surfaces. In fact, it appeared not to have an engine, fuel tanks, or fuel. Lacatski asked: What was the purpose of this craft? Was it a life-support craft useful only for atmospheric reentry or what? If it was a spacecraft, then how did it operate”? And, Lacatski may have seen the craft with his own eyes and entered it. But Burlison (or anybody else on the Task Force) didn't see it as a priority to bring him in, UNDER OATH, and have him repeat what is said in that book, and other important claims from the other two books, and his interviews with Knapp and Corbell? I'm shaking my head as I type this. You know what percentage of the world has read those books and/or watched the, limited, interviews Lacatski has given? Maybe 0.0000000000001% of the population? You had (and still do) a chance to get that man under oath and it wasn't a priority? WTAF? He's getting older and we don't know how much longer he will be around. If, as Rep. Andy Ogles told Matt Laslo, another hearing is coming in January, Lacatski, if he agrees, MUST be part of that. You can ask him about the craft, the alleged paranormal connection, and people getting sick and injured if they get too close to a UAP. And, he can be asked about the hitchhiker effect and claims of contagion. It doesn't matter if he won't add anything new or different than what's in his books or interviews. Put him under oath for the world to see and hear and, hopefully, the mainstream media picks up the story: Rocket Scientist: The USG Has an Otherworldly Craft in its Possession and Have Breached the Hull And maybe, if he's in a Disclosure mood, he'll offer up some surprise like he did in his last interview on Weaponized when he said we have made progress on back engineering these craft but, "it hasn't been achieved to its full extent." That's a MASSIVE claim! Push him to offer up more. And if his answers to many questions are: "It's all in my book"? Make him read from his book so the world can be informed about his claims and what was allegedly discovered in AAWSAP. David Grusch didn't say much more than what he said in his interview with Ross Coulthart and article in The Debrief, but was there ever any thought that he shouldn't have been put under oath and brought in as a witness for that congressional hearing? Of course not!) Burlison: "But to your point, I think getting him in a SCIF and seeing if there's maybe any additional room for him to talk, it might be worthwhile to do that." Knapp: "I think he might. I mean, the last conversations that we've had, it seems like he's edging closer to the idea that, under the right circumstances, he would be willing to share information with Congress, which would be great." (Again, I'm all for putting him the SCIF, too.)
