These gym Karen’s are getting bolder and bolder everyday. I’ve been there before trying to do a superset and I leave a place holder like a towel on the seat while I get a drink of water and I come back and somebody is already using the machine, like they have no common sense or any idea of gym etiquette. This man has a car rental business. This guy he is talking to is 6 days late on his payment. The renter is threatening the owner to sue HIM when he is the one who is late with no communication until today. Then the customer he gets racial and threatens him. This is not how you call and tell the owner you are behind on a payment. The pacing around- I get it. Ready to blow a gasket but trying to remain business like and under control. They're controlling a real physical machine in real time, trying to win real physical prizes. And if they win, the prize either gets mailed to them or converted into a digital form and emailed to them instantly. You will not believe how many plays this thing got in one night. People are obsessed with this because it takes the satisfaction of a claw machine, the nostalgia, the challenge, the thrill of winning something, and it makes it accessible from anywhere at any time. You don't have to be at an arcade. You don't have to be at a mall. You can be sitting on your couch at midnight and decide you want to try to win a toy or a gift card or whatever's loaded in the machine. And this is interesting because you only need to own one physical machine, but you can have thousands of people playing it all over the world. And if multiple people want to play at the same time, then you can charge extra. If you have a fixed supply and high demand, your price goes up. The prizes can be anything, toys, electronics, gift cards, merch, whatever. People can share with their friends. They play over and over. It becomes content. It becomes competition. This whole situation is suspect. If you had a $100k + Mercedes, you would take it in for service at Mercedes right? I mean, don’t buy an expensive car if you can’t afford the maintenance. Now after Jiffy Lube pulled his car in, they claimed that it had a check engine light on. The owner denies it saying he took a picture of the dash and there was no check engine light. The fact he took a picture of the dash tells me there is a possibility he knew about it and cleared the code before he pulled in. So is Jiffy Lube scamming him or is he scamming them?
