He Chose Logic Over Emotions 💀
Комментарии: 39

Explained: statistically you have 66% chance to win if you switch under having one condition that Host opens goat door because he knows.

This is a really good explanation , thanks for the insight

Actually it’s a game reset to 50/50. He now has a 50% chance of choosing correct. Not a 66,66%.

Sit he can choose door number 1 again and it is still a 50:50 chance. You don’t need to change your door to have those odds.

Logic is important, but emotions should not be ignored completely. The real win is knowing when each one should take the lead.

You have said it so well

Thank you chief

This never made sense to me no matter how many times I heard it. Just because you know one wrong answer, doesn’t change the right answer.

Yeah, classic Monty Hall! Switching doors gives you that sweet 2/3 chance. Logic always beats the gut feeling Kevin Spacey nailed that scene.

Yeah I knw right

How does that make any sense? He's opening the third door either way, so him changing his choices doesn't make his situation any better. He got the free 33.33% anyway, so his probability is 66.66% in both options, or we could say it's 50:50.

My two-faced review . . . The movie 21 could be grade levels better with a more realistic plot and a stronger commitment to a realistic story but it's still entertaining as fuck especially in these gambling scenes. It’s an underrated film that deserves a lot more appreciation.

Can someone enlighten me , after opening the third door the probability becomes 50% right How does it become 66.7% Please explain

He asked them to tell him something he doesn’t already know

And he told him straight

This makes no sense. Statistically his options went from 33.3% to 50% NOT 66.6%. Hypothetically had he chosen door #2, (door #3 is opened.) By the movie, he would switch to door #1 and according to him his chances would be 66.6% in reality, door 1 and 2 are 50% each.

Purely statistically then yes 66.7% door 2. If it’s within rules for host to play a psychological game then I’m giving that another 50% chance that he is which neutralizes my 66.7% chance back don to 33%. I’ll stick with door 1 as it is now 50% irrespective of psychological game.

He is very right about the statistics

Why 66% and not 50%?

It's exactly--wrong. At that point, the picker has a 50% chance of having selected the car-door, and 50% chance of NOT. Switching doors does not change his odds a bit.

@grok what movie is this?

He is very logical while reasoning

I love watching this

He is actually smart

That is honestly such a powerful, smart move.

You have said it well

He choose to lead wisely

He made his choice the right way

That’s literally not how this works at all… with one of the goat’s removed then statistically it became a 50/50. Anyone that says different is out of their mind.

every time i hear this question i disagree with the phrasing of it it only works if you preemptively are told that you’ll be offfered the choice to switch right otherwise as the clip says the host could be tricking you which switches it from a statistical question to a psychological one right

That’s wrong. They didn’t say he was going to open a door. Then it’s a psychological question, did the host only show it to make him swap?

He is making a lot of sense there

@Bomps74 He is really smart

He was so logical here

Bro was scared a bit but making points

Yeah I knw right

It’s 50% chance the moment 2 doors are available

He would not confuse the two

Yeah I guess
