The owner of this bar and grill hangs out there and treats his staff like his own personal servers. The place was slammed on a busy weekend and the servers and bartenders were busy with customers. The owner had to wait a few minutes to get his own beer that he could have gotten himself since it was his place. He then made a scene and called out the server for being too busy with actual customers instead of making sure his own glass was full and he fired her in front of everyone. Other servers joined her and quit on the spot, was the owner right for firing her? Is it the servers job to serve the owners as well? He sure thinks so. When I worked for my aunt that put me in charge, I always told my own family and friends to never come down there if they think I am going to give them special treatment. In fact I told them I would treat them worse since I knew them and they weren’t paying customers. The paying customers always came first, I told them they were more than welcome to join me for dinner and drinks there after hours but never during business hours. Luckily for me my own family and friends were respectful and understood that I was there to make money and create returning guests not serving friends and family who will come regardless for the freebies. That’s how I stayed in business and that’s how I made money and made sure the bills and utilities and rent was always paid on time. I feel it’s rude for family and friends to expect special treatment anyways since I never do, I won’t even go to a place where I have friends and family working just for that reason.

My mom’s neighbor used to yell at my nephew all the time for no reason, he was only 5 years old when it happened. It got so bad I wouldn’t let him outside by himself anymore. On more than one occasion she would move her car when we walked by as if she was trying to bump him with her mirror. I left work and went over there to visit and when I pulled up I saw my mom outside having a screaming match with the neighbor. My nephew was standing behind my mom and I could see he was crying. The neighbor threatened to call the cops if she saw him running around shirtless again I told her to be my guest, he’s not doing anything wrong. I ended up calling her son who I grew up with, he and I were friends but as soon as he was old enough he ran out and never came back. He said his mom hated kids, she even treated him badly when he was a kid too and that’s why he left when he did. I ended up installing cameras there to document what was going on incase this escalated further.

My mom’s neighbor used to yell at my nephew all the time for no reason, he was only 5 years old when it happened. It got so bad I wouldn’t let him outside by himself anymore. On more than one occasion she would move her car when we walked by as if she was trying to bump him with her mirror. I left work and went over there to visit and when I pulled up I saw my mom outside having a screaming match with the neighbor. My nephew was standing behind my mom and I could see he was crying. I immediately went over there and asked what was going on.she said she came home from work and saw my nephew who I remind you is 5 years old, shirtless and running through a sprinkler in the front yard. She feels that he shouldn’t have been doing that in the front yard and how he was dressed inappropriately for all to see. I looked at him, he was shirtless and was wearing swim trunks and rubber water shoes. I was very confused as to what she meant by inappropriate. I told her he’s a little boy running around a sprinkler, it’s hot out and he wasn’t even close to her property. She said she didn’t care, it was the fact that he was out there shirtless and he shouldn’t have had to see it if he was doing it in the back yard like he was supposed to. My mom then chimed in and said she didn’t have to scream at him like that, he’s only 5 years old. Jennings tried claiming Melo vs Bron was not a rivalry beyond the first couple of years. But I've always stood on this: If LeBron had stayed and gutted out JUST ONE CHAMPIONSHIP in Cleveland, that ONE would hold more weight and legacy that the four that he has via superteams he quit repeatedly to run around the league joining. And Melo and Bron was a rivalry right up until LeBron stole JR Smith and Iman Shumpert, who Melo was building a winner in NY with, to add to his already superteam in Cleveland. Permit me to share with you what I found out about my daughter, Ayomide “Mamike” Sowore, when I returned home to her after five years. This might blow your mind! I want to celebrate her for facing some of the most tumultuous periods of life with grace and that turning this into a fantastic adventure that led her to find her talent is somewhat soothing. BELOW WAS HER POEM, SHE READ IT DURING MY HOMECOMING CEREMONY A King: a Hero: a dad By Ayomide Sowore He travels like a bird With wings that take him far But his feathers fall everywhere And settle like a scar When he lands he’s worshipped A king upon a throne But they don’t know the consequence For he doesn’t let it show His children miss him dearly Those feathers which he dropped Heartbeat, heartbeats all over Heartbroken he is naught A brick atop a ceiling A drop outside a glass We know outside he means something But when is his entrance? ... August 3, 2019 The day we saw him last Though far across the water His freedom was still cast Myself upon a couch My Brother sprawled on chair My Mother’s words reached high-pitched points Now finally aware I imagined it with handcuffs Peaceful from respect A man who fought for his people Not needing to object And then I saw the truth An act of tyranny A look into the harsh abuse Now everyone would see ...
