Had the most strange night in a LONG time. At midnight, my ring cameras go off at the shop with deputies all over the property... I have no idea what is happening, and it gets insane from there. Just petty crimes, fighting, evading police, etc. I have tried for years to get him to just straighten up and be the man I know he could be. Day before yesterday, he tells me he has a warrant out for his arrest and I tell him he cannot stay there with her. I can't have him staying there and getting me involved with whatever shit he had going on. She is welcome to stay, but he can't be there. He lost his mind and called me all sorts of things as he stomped out. Well, last night he decided he was staying there regardless, and when she wouldn't unlock the door, he decided to put his fist through the glass. Drugs destroy people, man. This young man had so much potential and I have tried and tried to get him clean and get him to a good life... August 3, 2019 The day we saw him last Though far across the water His freedom was still cast Myself upon a couch My Brother sprawled on chair My Mother’s words reached high-pitched points Now finally aware I imagined it with handcuffs Peaceful from respect A man who fought for his people Not needing to object And then I saw the truth An act of tyranny A look into the harsh abuse Now everyone would see ... His laugh came with an accent His heritage so clear We loved the way he said his words The way he wore his hair We poked fun at him often For things a father has His funny, big round tummy His passion for bad dance He gave the greatest hugs A man with a big heart That beat for everyone he knew — I’ve known him less apart I hope once more I’ll see him That his wings land him home His crown thorns grow unbearable His window dew drops foam

Buster Gets His Happy Ending 🥹🐶🥰🙏 Buster was on a chain for years on cold concrete. We were told it was because he was vicious and dangerous. It turns out he was the complete opposite. He only knew love and his fav thing to do was sniff the flowers. The first part of his long recovery was his health… 👂 He had to have an ear removed as it had been left for so long 🫁 He could hardly walk 10 yards as he was so unfit. We were able to build his stamina up 🧫 He had a bad fungal infection all over. It took lots of care and bathing to fix 🥴 Buster started having epileptic fits. It was vital he had an owner who could help him with his medicine and care. He found that owner in Kitty who came all the way to visit him. To say they fell in love would be an understatement. She takes him on hikes, he goes to work with her as a tennis coach and every video I see he is sleeping in her bed with a big stuffed toy. Although his medical history is complicated he is well looked after now and proves that you should never give up in life. There is always hope. I’ve never met a friendlier or more gentle dog in my whole life than Buster. He deserves this. Well done to Buster and Kitty 🥰🙏

Last month, I shared a bit here about how my 17-year-old son has a passion for video game development and has spent hundreds of hours over the last 9 months creating his first game for release. Well, I want to let you know that Nitro Turtles is now out! It's a party racing game (kind of like Mario Kart) and has 9 courses, a speedrun mode with online leaderboards, and split screen/online multiplayer. My husband and I played all 9 courses against each other last night and IT WAS SO FUN! I'm so proud of him for the accomplishment. He has a really demanding junior year schedule of AP/Dual Credit/Honors classes, has straight As, and somehow managed to develop this all on his own out of pure passion. He started teaching himself programming in 3rd grade and just developed his skills from there. Nitro Turtles in the culmination of all the subsequent years of self-driven learning. If you or your kids play computer games, I would love for you to check the game out on Steam!

“We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun but the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time… “ Born in 2002 sired by Gaylord (GY) in an army depot. Rejected by the army for his size and to cover up a botched up eye worm operation. This one eyed little horse was auctioned and bought by a tanga wala. A quick phone call from a Colonel Dahiya to a Colonel Ahlawat about the promise being wasted pulling Tangas all his life saved him from that life. The Colonel saab reluctant to sell his wonder baby had to pay EMIs and he came into my life outta sheer destiny and made my life so much richer. I named him Ranji coz of his one eye like Maharaja Ranjit Singh Gaekwar (Ranji trophy is named after him). Due to his free upbringing by the Colonel he turned out to be a free spirited and a naughty child. He jumped out or crawled out of all kinds of stables we put him in. With his childlike vivacious personality there was never a dull moment with him around. Always wanting to be running free. He jumped that way too. He took me flying over many an obstacle, sometimes with my eyes shut for the scare of it and won me many a medal. He was always way superior to my riding skills at the time but he carried me well. Unfortunately he contacted Laminitis in his prime years. A disease due to which most horses are euthanised. I just gave him some time and thanks to Dr Pheroz Khambatta he bounced back and was jumping again. A very rare case. Many a times complications rose in due course and the horrible question of putting him down raised its head. All I said was “let’s give him some time.” He always bounced back like the little tennis ball he was thanks to his loving grooms over the years, Khem Singh, the many Bhoom Singhs, Revat Singh, Megh Singh and Sumer Singh. He finally passed on to the other realm at 23 years old which is like in the 90s in horse years. He still needed two grooms to hold him when taken for a walk coz he was still so full of spirit. He even tried to jump out of the stable on his last night as if he wanted to fly away. And Fly away he did. Heartbroken and almost not wanting to keep horses anymore I bid you farewell my dear trusted friend. My Ranji. We just ran out time brother. 🙏🤗
