Fedex ground drivers are all independent contractors, fedex doesnt own those trucks. Each contractor hires their own drivers, buys their own trucks and as long as they meet fedex requirements they are good to go.

I’ve had my CDL for about 35 years, spotless record, cln bckground etc & practically begged FedEx for a job like this & was told no. they decided to go with a different driver lol. I C now why I didn’t get the job! He’s obviously way more qualified & experienced than I am 😂😂😂!
