You might think it wasn’t enough, but he did the best he could, and Yıldız herself saw that! He stood against the clan. Against the norms. Against the culture. Against traditions. Against his mother. The jury was told the footage showed Majek staring at Rhiannon while she worked at the Park Inn Hotel, Walsall, on Oct. 20 last year, before following her through a car park after her shift. He then went to the shop to buy a drink before returning to his accommodation, the court heard. "Once at the hotel, he was seen dancing and laughing, clearly excited about what he had done," the prosecution claimed. Rhiannon was stabbed 23 times, including 11 blows that penetrated her skull, with other wounds to her chest and defensive markings on her arm. She had called a friend moments before her death, who heard her screams before the line went dead. The prosecution claimed the murder weapon was likely a screwdriver, which has not been found.
