Jesus draws all sinners The Holy Spirit reproves the world of their sin of unbelief John 16:8-9 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;

He does - then he breaks us in order to make us more like him - whatever is not of Christ he attempts to strip away if we let him.

Thank you, America… through Alex Barbir. In a time when everything we called home was reduced to ruins, when fear and pain tried to silence our hope, your kindness found us. You did not turn away from our brokenness. You reached into our suffering and helped us begin again. Because of you, shattered walls are rising once more, and hearts that were once filled with despair are slowly learning to hope again. What was destroyed by violence is being rebuilt through love. We will never forget this compassion. In the midst of darkness, you became a light for us.

The Holy Spirit's work in our lives: "The Spirit's work is invisible, the effects are highly visible. What is He doing in us? He produces a desire for repentance, a hatred of sin, a desire to seek salvation & forgiveness. He produces in us a belief in the gospel." —MacArthur

PM Abiy: “We will ensure Ethiopia’s port ownership” - “Our desires will be achieved through Diligence, Not Begging” During the inauguration of Ethiopia’s Calub natural gas project in the Somali region, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed declared that the country will ensure its port ownership and achieve all its national ambitions through diligence, not begging. “As the saying goes, ‘seeing is believing.’ We have completed this project just as promised before Parliament reconvenes,” he said, urging citizens—particularly those he described as “kept in the dark”—to recognize Ethiopia’s progress. With confidence, he added, “No one can stop us.” Abiy stressed Ethiopia’s determination to secure port ownership, safeguard peace, and achieve development through hard work and unity. “All our desires will be fulfilled through the combined diligence of Ethiopians, not through begging,” he declared, noting that no nation would willingly give Ethiopia its due. The Calub gas project, he said, symbolizes Ethiopia’s vision of self-reliance and a future built on collective effort. Watch

BROKENNESS IS NOT WEAKNESS: DON’T BE TOO PROUD TO REPENT The finished work of Christ is complete, but it must be appropriated through the systems God has provided. The blood of Jesus Christ has brought us eternal redemption, but we must engage this reality with understanding. Scripture teaches us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There is a subtle narrative that has been sold to many Believers, that there is no need to own up, open your heart, and cry for mercy. But repentance is not a denial of the finished work of Christ; repentance is an appropriation system. It makes active in your life today that which Christ has already finished. The work of the Cross is a reality, but it must be personally received and appropriated. When God finds repentance, brokenness, and sincerity of heart, He responds. So, do not wrestle with the Spirit for too long when He is calling you to brokenness. Do not be embarrassed when God points out an area of your life that requires correction or adjustment. Learn to be malleable in His presence. Watch the full sermon titled “I Press (Contending For Next-Level Victories)” on the Koinonia Global YouTube channel. #ApostleJoshuaSelman #IPress #ContendingForNextLevelVictories #KoinoniaGlobal

Our hearts are with the friends and family of Clive Davis, and all the artists and music lovers whose lives he changed with his vision, talent, and generosity. He discovered Aerosmith, an unknown bar band, in 1972 and swiftly signed us to Columbia Records. He stood by us through our resurgence in the 1980s when our future wasn’t promised. He was a great man whose life’s work became the melody of modern culture and whose memory will always be a blessing.
