Even the bible confirms this. God must trust you as a good worker to give you a wife because marriage is a work. And only diligent workers can work it out.

The older I get the more I realize that love is less about feeling and more about effort. Don’t get me wrong the feeling is super important too, but nothing shows more love than showing up for people consistently.
