He found a way to escape 🎬

🎬: Roots (2016)

He wasn't a prisoner he was a slave

You mean slave master

His name is NOT Toby it’s Kunta Kinte!!!

I’ve been looking for where to see this movie.

@grok what is the tittle of this movie?

His name is not Toby

why does it say overseer instead of slave master ?

“Prisoner”!? Really!?!

Note: In the 2016 Roots miniseries, Kunta Kinte (called Toby) spots a chisel, hides it under a wagon during a distraction, and with help from a sympathetic steward files off his chains. He escapes on horseback at dawn during Christmas celebrations but is soon tracked by dogs and recaptured. This intense scene highlights his fierce resistance to enslavement in the historical drama. #Drama 𝕏 #HistoricalFiction
