he got infected 😳

The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008), remake of the 1951 version.

I love this scene for one reason. The big guy was willing to sacrifice the worker but when he’s in the same position, he’s not willing to sacrifice himself. Luckily, that general has a sense of duty.

Why does it eat through everything but then blow the door off like Hulk.

It's so weird how indians will upload a 90 second clip and then give some little quip that shows they understood nothing that happened.

@grok what is this movie

In the 2008 sci-fi remake The Day the Earth Stood Still, an alien named Klaatu arrives on Earth with a warning about humanity's environmental destruction. When the military examines his giant robot GORT, it transforms into a massive swarm of self-replicating nanobots that rapidly consume everything man-made in their path, spreading chaos and terror. Keanu Reeves stars as Klaatu alongside Jennifer Connelly in this tense update of the classic story. #SciFi 𝕏 #ActionThriller

I know The Day Earth Stood Still new one has better effect. But I also watched the old one due to two DVD combo. Man, old one is so much better. better characters, story telling. emotions. Give the old one a chance.

A terrible remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still without the wonder, charm and seriousness of the original.
