Jainism, for all its commitment to nonviolence, isn’t immune to failure — no religion is. Zoroastrianism reminds us that the world is a battle between Asha and Druj — truth and deceit. We are each called to actively choose the path of Asha, and sometimes that means standing up and abolishing lies, not tolerating them in the name of peace. Passive righteousness that lets evil thrive is still evil in effect. True goodness isn’t just about restraint — it’s about courage, clarity, and moral action.
