Kannadigas have become a joke in themselves. Not a single word or protest on government rule imposing Urdu mandatory but going rogue after seeing a station named in Hindi (along with Eng & state language).

Beautifully said! His willingness to learn Kannada and respect local culture is truly commendable. It's heartwarming to see the warmth and inclusiveness of Kannadigas. He's indeed one among us now!

Kannada matters. 👏 Telugu actor Rao Ramesh took the effort to learn Kannada and dub in Kannada for his role. That’s respect for the language and the audience. Meanwhile, some actors and even Kannadigas born and raised here still don’t make the effort to speak or dub in Kannada. They should be ashamed. #Kannada #RaoRamesh

Koreans are putting effort to learn and speak Kannada with the native Kannadigas. But our Indians are refusing to speak basic Kannada in Karnataka which will eventually benefit them. A basic kannada is must for all in Karnataka.

Food delivery boys from Dravidian nadu living in Bengaluru did not know Kannada. Our Kannada boys warned them and gave them one week to learn the language. Kannada, being older than Tamil, will emerge as the common language of South, just as Hindi is for North. Jai Karnataka 💛♥️

A Northeast Indian man, Arjun Khatri, who has been living in Bengaluru for 20 years, has a serious complaint: “Bengaluru people don’t let us learn Kannada.” We’ve been saying this from the beginning: The moment someone from outside the state gets off the bus or train, speak to them in Kannada. Insist on using Kannada at shops and establishments. There are lakhs of non-Kannadigas who love Karnataka and happily speak Kannada. Just converse with them in Kannada. Karnataka doesn’t need any “activists” or fighters. Those so-called activists don’t teach anyone Kannada; they only bully people. #Bengaluru #Kannada

Kannadigas are always told to show ‘Vishala Hrudaya’, right @ShashiKumar? Learn 3 languages, adjust, stay silent — even in our own land. Why should Kannada kids bear the burden in Karnataka? Is there a 3-language policy in UP? No. #SaveKannada #NammaNaaduNammaBhaashe

I don’t understand what’s happening with some “Lashkar-E-Oolatas” groups these days. The truck driver is from another state and doesn’t even reside in Karnataka, yet some ppl r forcing him to speak Kannada just for publicity. If he had insulted the language or our state, questioning him would make sense but he was simply here to deliver goods. Such actions by a few are only damaging the dignity and true value of Kannada. When we speak politely and respectfully others naturally feel comfortable learning and speaking our language. But incidents like these will only create more problems, not solutions. I currently live in Pune, and many of my colleagues are from Karnataka. We speak Kannada among ourselves, and sometimes others even pick up a few Kannada words. We also communicate in Hindi and the local language, and there’s absolutely no conflict over language. But even here, a few so-called activists keep provoking innocent people unnecessarily. Many of my local colleagues often wonder why some Ji#hadi people don’t communicate in Kannada. Even some colleagues from regions like Bidar aren’t fluent in Kannada, which shows how diverse language use can be.

A Kannada guy is speaking Hindi, asks to respect every culture and then even apologises for if he made mistake. If only everyone becomes like Yash, India’s whole regional & cultural divide can end once and for all. These are the kind of stars people need to be getting inspired from.

Welcome to Puerto Rico: our land, our people, our responsibility Puerto Rico welcomes them with open arms. Our island is a paradise of natural beauty, vibrant culture, deep history and a warm and proud people. We want you to enjoy our beaches, mountains, forests and cities full of life. We want them to know our music, our food, our traditions and our hospitality. But with that welcome comes a responsibility: respect. Respect our beaches, our rivers, our animals and our flora. We are not here to trample our environment or treat our land as if it had no owner. Respect our people. We are a noble, hardworking and dignity. We are not here to be exoted, used or ignored. Our culture is not a show, it is our essence. And that is clear: the Puerto Rican knows how to defend his own. If they come with contempt, arrogance or destruction, they will not be welcome. This island has resisted storms, invasions and oblivion. Our hand does not tremble to defend it once again. So enjoy. Laugh. Bathe in our waters. Dance with us. Learn from us. But always, always with respect. Puerto Rico is from the Caribbean, from Latin America, from the world ... But above all, it is from Puerto Ricans.
