Happy Easter and remember on this Holy Day, that we are a Christian nation. Democrats hate the Bible, and hate any mention of God or biblical morality. Always one of the primary goals of marxists and socialists is to "remove the belief in God from the Government and schools". (Step #7 in Alinsky's 8 steps from Democracy to Socialism) It is past time to revisit and examine the marxist left's anti-Christian campaign of trying to turn us into a "secular" state for the last 70 years. In reality, they ultimately want to replace religion with a totalitarian/socialist all powerful government. The core issue is that the left has systematically and successfully changed the meaning of the first amendment into the mantra of "Separation of Church and State" when, in fact, the first amendment says only "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". Which means that Congress cannot establish a "state" religion nor can it prohibit the establishment or exercise of any Religion. It says absolutely nothing about the study of the Bible or the practice of voluntary prayer in government or schools and public facilities which was common and customary for most of our history. Yet in 1962, the Supreme Court banned prayer in schools. They ruled against non- denominational, totally voluntary prayer even though that's clearly not what the Constitution says. Of course we were founded as a Christian nation, hence all our documents and history and even our currency contain references; "In God we trust", "One Nation under God", "endowed by our Creator", etc.. In fact every Congressman since 1884 has been sworn in with an oath to support and uphold the Constitution ending with the words, "so help my God"! Yet we see the left's constant attempts to take down statues (Christians all) and demonize the founders as racists. They want to destroy our history and culture by removing every reference to God in public, government, and even private institutions. It's another way trying to render our Christian history and documents as invalid. As I said, these references are historic and force no one to accept a particular religious belief and do not establish any state sanctioned religion. I think this is a fight we should resurrect for the destruction of faith and family in America is one of the root causes of our continuing demise. We must recognize that the marxist Democrats' primary and most basic step toward making us a socialist/communist state is to destroy our country's religious base and then all of its religious history and historical markers. That's the justification for destroying the right to Prayer, and then rewriting history, tearing down our statues, renaming everything from airports to schools, etc.. Socialists are atheists and atheists believe in "moral relativism"; that denies the existence of good and evil that we have witnessed for the entirety of human history. How else can you explain the acceptance of abortion up to the moment of birth or the idea that it's acceptable to chemically castrate or forever physically mutilate minors in the name of "gender affirmation". It's not even in the realm of political debate, it's evil incarnate. If we allow it to continue, then we are complicit in the end of the great "American experiment" and our once proud Christian Republic's self-destruction.
