Is Justin Herbert uncomfortable with what he's being asked to do in the Los Angeles Chargers offense?

@billbarnwell @robertmays My only disagreement is that in previous years, he HAS been dragging a mediocre offense to 11 win seasons. So yes he seems currently unable to do it (in the first two weeks), but he has been that guy many times in his career. LAC doesn’t sniff playoffs w/o him last couple years.

@billbarnwell @robertmays He isn’t the answer either is kinda hilarious considering the fucking shit line he took to the playoffs last year. Lord yall need some help. Dudes never had an AVERAGE RUN GAME OR O LINE and mfers wanna ask why can’t you win dude? God it’s so fucking tiring

“He is not the problem and he is not the solution.” You see the contradiction? If he’s “not the solution,” you’re acknowledging that a solution is needed or exists. And if he’s also “not the problem,” then apparently we have a problem with no cause and a solution to a problem nobody is responsible for. Try making an argument instead of arranging contradictory sentences and hoping they sound profound.

@billbarnwell @robertmays Patrick Mahomes in a better situation last year was also not the solution. The idea that if he was only a tier better as a qb than this would look fine is ridiculous. Almost every nook and cranny of this team is playing below their well established levels. Problem is systemic

@billbarnwell @robertmays Seems like you are underrating the job he did last year to get the team to 11 wins.

@billbarnwell @robertmays “Mediocre” is a pretty kind way to describe his situation. I think its bottom 5 in the league personally. Any time he is playing a game ask yourself, “outside of the QB which roster would you rather have?” You will start to question everything

@billbarnwell @robertmays There is not solution to this offense ya dunce. Not everything needs a clickbait title.

@billbarnwell @robertmays The QBs people say can be the solution are always just the best QBs on the best teams. Everyone would have laughed in your face if you said Mahomes wasn’t the guy in 2023, but once the league caught up with the Chiefs and they had some injuries, suddenly it was fine to say that

@billbarnwell @robertmays It just is not true that Pat, Josh and Lamar have ever played in a situation equivalent to Justin’s tho, I think they are better players but to say that they have evidenced their ability to play in situations this poor is just not accurate.

@billbarnwell @robertmays I enjoyed this discussion. It does seem the discussion around Herbert are he sucks or his team sucks and are both probably to extreme. I do think it will get better.

He can be the solution. We saw it just last year when that line was a disaster. But he is clearly adjusting to this new offense so that adds a degree of difficulty initially. I expect we see him elevate this group. The problem is their season may be in peril by then with that monster schedule.

@billbarnwell @robertmays Hes not the Problem. The not finding the Solution is on the Chargers as a Poverty Organization. Not Justin Herbert
