Even me the handler felt that, infact today has been a vindicative day for Seyi. This runner at first was caught in a pick off move by the pitcher. Pitcher throws to first and the first baseman fires to second and the umpire calls him out. He looked safe on the play. However, the umpire admits he was safe but said he called him out because the other team was losing 10-0 in the first inning. He said “he was so safe but I just gave it to them.” Basically saying we gotta’ get the game moving right? Fellow umpires, some coaches and parents said they respect the call and why. But many people said you are cheating that one runner by calling him out. They said no matter the score you have to have integrity even if it is 20-0. They said this is why kids grow up disliking umpires and why parents act the way they do. Tough one- I actually understand where he is coming from but if that were your kid, would you want him called out? I say call the game the right way 100% and let it play out the way it is supposed to. How is the other team supposed to get better if you are giving them calls? Do you agree with the umpire and why he did it? Or, are you totally against that and that should never happen?

All your anger is natural. I’m not defending his Instagram post but guys there’s a thin line between hate and criticism. Ik he has a diverse cult fan base and enjoys some liberty in certain areas because he always has his people's back. That said he also needs to be extra careful with his actions so they don't get upset. No matter what people say he has always been proud of you all and proudly flaunts his fandom everywhere whether on TV shows or in interviews. He always mentions his Elvish Army and has always said how grateful he is for your love and support. From now let's try to drop this and move forward. After all he's our brother. The other side is highly manipulative. But Elvish also needs to understand the more distance he maintains from such people the better it will be for his professional work. There are so many good projects lined up please don’t ruin everything because of this. Elvish Yadav we all respect your professional commitments but the post you made yesterday was completely unnecessary. People have been connected to you for a long time and if you expect them to suddenly switch sides, that’s never going to happen. AM2R is a triumph. The original Metroid 2 on Game Boy was my first Metroid game, back when I was about 7. I've since played it about ten times. Over the years I've played all the 2D Metroids over and over, 5 to 20 times each. I don't usually play fan games, but this week I decided to finally give AM2R a shot (on Hard with an Xbox controller), and I gotta say... it's fantastic. It's simultaneously a more faithful remake than Samus Returns, and more satisfying to play and 100% complete. I like Samus Returns alright -- it's probably my least favorite 2D Metroid, still a good game though. But I think AM2R is even better.

So… The good news is Tyler is still with us. He didn’t eat or drink much overnight but was up and down and fairly bright-eyed this morning. The bad news is he likely won’t overcome his condition barring a miracle. He isn’t stable enough to transport to a clinic and he is in all likelihood past the point of recovery anyway. The vet will be here a bit later to examine him but we are all bracing ourselves for the worst. He wanted to get out of his stall (pushed past as we cleaned it) so he roamed around the front yard for 20 minutes, looked into the living room, stood under a tree for a bit and is now lying down in the cool grass. With small exceptions he can do whatever he wants to today. I just wanted to say that I’m beyond overwhelmed by the support and kindness from everyone throughout this ordeal. Never once did I feel alone and I know Tyler felt it, too. Because of all of you he didn’t die in a grody kill pen, he will head to heaven feeling loved. Like they all deserve. My heart is broken, I know all of yours are too… I will say goodbye for all of you, I promise.
