I absolutely would not buy ice cream from a street vendor where I volunteered to be the butt of a joke to get what I paid for. I question who thinks this is fun. Children? It would just be annoying. Hard to judge appropriateness of humor starting from the place where none of it is funny.

I am currently in turkey now, where my big daughter two days ago got sick with some kind of food poison, I do suspect that it comes from a icecream place just like this, since we’re the only one to get an ice cream and also the only one to get sick.. I lived in Turkey for a year. The ice cream vendors there are known to mess with the people. But in this case above, that was a bit much and I don’t believe I ever saw/heard of anything like that occur. They are usually very respectful — playful, and annoying — but respectful. On a sidenote, the Turkish ice cream was not a favorite of mine or my family. It’s the only ice cream I have ever had to describe as “chewy.”🤭

Worst part is that the man was sitting beside her by just seeing all the drama
