For those wondering, this scene is from the anime Ragna Crimson, which premiered in 2023 and had a total of 24 episodes. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Daiki Kobayashi.

I mean it's a show about an overpower protagonist that isn't self aware enough to realize 'oh you're so powerful' only works when its earned. Of course it's not going to have a good way to save its villains.

villains always get cool powers/personalities while op protag-kuns just punch real hard, tank everything and "sacrifice their life" (get a stomachache for the next half-ep) to punch harder/"aura farm" about how the baddie bullied harem girl #6 for the very last time
