Some valid points but I dont agree with this narrative if you being a fan of J Cole. Or even listen to his music he references this entire situation. Going all the way back to middle child Cole simply said. If he's going to beef with a rapper or go toe-toe. Its going to be l legit. 7 minute drill was a phenomenal diss hands down. But what Cole didn't like about 7 minutes that it came out of a place of ego. He apologizing to Kendrick is not him saying Kendrick is the best. It's him apologizing for going back on his word cuz he said he not going to beef with nobody for no reason. For everybody with all these think pieces do y'all honestly think that. J Cole is going to sit there and be afraid to go against any rapper? Some of your favorite rappers might do it but not J Cole.

Jay and Nas maybe but don’t forget Big and Pac died and we live in a day and age of you only going to say so much about me until it’s a real problem.
