This will only happen with a very sharp knife...

Interesting. My onions are a lot redder when I dice them that way. 😝

I’ve cut an onion this exact way for most of my life. Fingertips back y’all 🤙🤙🔪🤙

How are his eyes not streaming? I can feel the pain watching that 😭😭😭😭😭

I need to try this

Pretty cool Isn’t it.

If I lose my finger I will let you know 😂

My method is also very fast.

Worst onion rings ever

It's really is though, spend a little bit of time to improve your knife handling skills in the kitchen it's well worth the effort. ALSO learn how to keep a chef's knife razor sharp, because a sharp knife is safer than a dull knife.

The idea of taking a layer of onion apart which also makes the peel come off with it is a nice idea

It’s a case of how many fingers I lose doing it his way

That man is an artist

Exactly how I cut an onion,

He looks so young and he’s probably like 40. 😂

Out of context but That's not original onion, That's GMO. Fuck I would never buy them ever

It IS simple. This is how I cut onions, but I cut the bottom first.

That guy was awesome. Me? I lost a finger just watching that.

That knife is razor sharp !

A sharp knife helps a lot.

That’s a big ONYO

If my knives were that sharp I’d somehow lose a leg 🦵

And there went the tip of my fingers.🫣

I love when people get to work doing what they enjoy. He's adorable

I was a cook for years, and my grandpa was at one point a short order cook... to me this is the normal way to dice an onion. How do normal people cut onions?

And I would need to show this video to the ER nurse/doctor to explain how I sliced off my knuckles and fingers..lol.

I'm still loosing fingers and toes 😫

He might be great at cutting onions. But he should not have put the outer skins of the onion on the counter where he was cutting. Onion is a root vegetable growing in the dirt.where botulism is located. He contaminated the cutting surface.

That's the way I do it. But - and not to be the wokester in the crowd - why does it matter if he's "foreign"? Seems like an odd thing to call out.

Needs a wooden board to keep the knife sharp.

Think I need sharper knives.

It's not hard. Patience is key, slow IS fast. When you finally get it, remember you have a pointy object in your hand and don't celebrate recklessly 😂

I bet he's domestic somewhere.

the way he holds the knife like its an extension of his hand and im still out here using the claw grip on everything

"In a second " stfu ngga
