Another empty promise from Nigel that should he be elected, will simply ignore. This is the problem with politics. The party in power would not change the system as not in their interest. Can't trust a word he says. Unfortunately no better than Starmer and that hurts to say that

@danwootton We must never again allow a rogue government to gain a huge majority of seats in parliament with 34% of the vote. Terms should also be reduced to three years and not five to ensure that the government sticks to the manifesto. Labour are running riot unopposed and it must stop.

Proportional Representation would be a better system, however we had that referendum only 14 years ago - and the 67% of the country said NO. Is that long ago enough to have a repeat vote? That would be like repeating the Brexit referendum in 2030 - and that was just 51%.

@danwootton It needs changing. Reform got more votes than the Lib Dem’s - Reform 4/5 seats, Dems 71 seats for less votes.
