“Everything’s on the table” is in the letter. “Jacking up your rates” is not. The Sept. 29 letter says a hybrid would keep rates affordable and lists private competition to drive them down. It also says seriously injured people should get their day in court again. That letter went to the Law Society, trial lawyers, the bar association, and the Insurance Bureau of Canada. In 2017 Adrian Dix wrote “no to no-fault.” In 2021 the NDP passed no-fault. Drivers can read both.

The only thing the NDP put on the table was everybody’s income. They didn’t even discuss ,there isn’t even a plan to stop spending. The fiscal disaster that this province is in we should have the greatest standard of living ever and instead we don’t and we have some of the worst poverty in the country and absolutely abhorrent living conditions for some drug addiction, homelessness, and astronomical wait times in the medical system.All they talk about is how they’re going to tax more. They’re not even interested in solving the problems. They just want more money. There isn’t even an analysis that the systems are in crisis. It’s just that they need to collect more taxes to solve problems that they haven’t tried to resolve in the past and in fact won’t admit there is an issue in some cases. The first way to tackle addiction is to admit there is a problem. The ndp is not interested in admitting or solving their addiction to taxation, debt and power.

Using ICBC as an example. We have fewer jobs in the auto body repair industry because of ICBC policies, they have consolidated the repair shops into just a few in number leaving little to no competition and we now have throw away cars as a resul and fewer jobs
