A few years ago I delivered to a gated house. Notes said I could just throw it over the gate so I did. Not even ten seconds later here comes a 150lb+ Great Dane all the way from his house. He grabs the package like he’s done this before and shredded like crock pot chicken lol

When I run into this problem, I start giving them commands, "sit", "down", "drop it" simply because the odds are if an older Malinois lives there, they only way everyone survived is if it were trained. 🤣

Dumbass dog would’ve been put up for adoption in the FB marketplace if he had bitten my packages

😭 he basically handed the dog the package then said don’t take it. Then watched the dog tear it apart. My boy stayed to witness the crime then took a picture way too late for proof 😂

Even if he had put the package down on the doorstep doggo would have torn it up anyway 😂

It’s the owners fault for leaving the dog out. The driver is just be cautious and not trying to provoke the dog. Dogs can become aggressive when they’re in a possessive mood.

In a just world this would teach the owner to put their log on a leash instead of letting him free roam outside. Unfortunately even with video proof the dog owner will just blame the delivery man.
