Britain has completely lost the plot. An Iraqi terror chief suspect — who British intelligence believes researched remote-controlled cars and helicopters, possibly for carrying out attacks — was refused British citizenship on national security grounds. He failed the “good character” test. Yet he is still allowed to stay in the United Kingdom. Why? Because the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) apparently protects him from deportation. Sending him back to Iraq might put him at risk of “persecution.” Let that sink in.
