Interesting metaphorical speak. However, when we are young it is factually correct that like all young people we tend to drift away from God. Yet as we mature and age, and are less controlled by our immediate desires, wants, and gratifications, most (not all) tend to drift back. This may not be the best way to come to God, but nevertheless, it is a fundamental truth for the wide majority of us. God bless.
