I was genuinely taken aback by this young man’s response when he was told, “You look extremely confident.” His answer was heartfelt, thoughtful, and full of wisdom beyond his years. It wasn’t rehearsed or forced it was completely genuine, well I thought so anyways. Watching him, you can’t help but think what a wonderful human being he is, and what a credit he is to his parents. He has a real warmth, energy and glow about him that’s hard to describe. In a world full of noise, this is the kind of video everyone should watch. It restores a little faith in people. ❤️🙏

It began early in his career, with cocaine. People asked why a man that fast ever needed it. His answer flips the assumption on its head: "I think I did it because it would actually allow me not to talk. It was like, you know, reverse medication... It just kind of shuts you down, which is a, you know, word: self-medication." The first turning point came in the early 1980s. Two things changed his thinking: the death of his friend John Belushi from an overdose, and the news that he was about to become a father. One day, a man noticed a little squirrel trapped in a snare in his backyard. He carefully freed it, and the frightened squirrel quickly disappeared. He thought that was the end of it. Then one day, while taking food from the man, it looked up at him for a moment. That’s when he realized something sweet… maybe this squirrel had been saying thank you all along, in its own little way.
