You used his sacrifice for posters, not for policies. Now let’s talk Veer Savarkar, the man who: 👉Faced 14 years of hell in Kala Pani, not VIP British jails with toast and tea like Nehru. 👉Wasn’t writing poetry to British governors, unlike your chacha Nehru who begged Mountbatten to retain power. 👉Was target no. 1 for the British long before Gandhi even returned from South Africa. 👉Built Hindu political thought and militant resistance while Congress leaders were singing God Save the King. Yes, he wrote petitions, because he was a strategist, not a suicidal idealist. He knew he could do more outside the jail than rot inside while Congress cozied up to the crown. As for the pension, even Gandhi asked for stipends. Maybe Google that before typing from your echo chamber of ignorance. And finally , if betrayal is your keyword, let’s talk: 👉Nehru betrayed Bose and had him declared a war criminal. 👉Indira betrayed democracy during the Emergency. 👉Congress betrayed Kashmir with Article 370. 👉And you? You betray your own brain cells every time you tweet. Savarkar deserves respect. You deserve a history book. Start there.
