Station wagons back in the 70s had the rear seat facing back. My folks had one and I remember sitting in that back seat. I'm watching this thinking there's nothing new about this. Just bringing back an oldie but goodie.

Normalize rear facing seats again. Much safer in a head on collision.

Several models were built that way in the 60s and 70s.

We did this with the Astro van in the 80s. It gave us more leg room too.
