Love really does change everything, every single time 🐾

We rescued Montague last spring. When they first brought him out to the play yard of the shelter, he crawled under a chair. We brought our other dog, Penny, with us so they could meet and she coaxed him out and they got to know each other. On the way home, Monty rode on the floor of the back seat. Still hiding. We got home and got him out of the car. He peeked in the gate and saw his new yard, then spent the next 10 minutes running and jumping around the yard. Then he ran in the house and immediately claimed the couch. This is the moment he looked at us and said: “This is mine, right?”

Thank goodness you brought him into your home and brought him back to life! Your love secured him to his forever home! Such a wonderful accomplishment for all! 👍❤️😘🫶💯

I find it hard to understand how people think that because it's "just a dog" or "just a cat", it gives them the right to abuse an animal. People that do this are the lowest of the low, and thank goodness that there are people who will take them in and love them...

Poor dog what happened to him that made him so scared? Breaks my heart I can’t understand why a human could hurt any animal… but look at him now well done to you for taking this beautiful dog and turning his life around I believe that their is more good people than bad in this world. May you have many happy years together
