Here is Fred Leuchter, the American execution expert who first proved that the gas chambers in Auschwitz were not execution gas chambers. He documented his trip, and scraped the bricks in the chamber ,🧱 then sent them to a lab to have them tested. The results for Zyklon B residue was negative. Meaning no gas was used in that room. But even further, the actual “gas chamber” itself was not air tight, had a wood door, and legitimately was not built in a functional way to work as an execution chamber. He would know, since he serviced and worked on multiple execution gas chambers within the US. He was shocked at his findings, but has never recanted from his conclusions despite the spear campaigns on his reputation.

Senior Airman Roger Fortson, who was 23 years old, was shot and killed on May 3rd at his home, located 5 miles from the Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field, Florida, where he is based. Police arrived at Fortson's apartment complex after a woman called and said she heard fighting coming from an apartment. There was no one else in Fortson’s apartment, he was home alone. The deputy shot him within two seconds of opening the door. Fortson was a member of the US military and licensed to carry a firearm. This was an execution.

He was accused of killing two girls, Betty (age 11) and Mary (age 7). The bodies were found near the house where George lived with his parents. Before his execution, George spent 81 days in prison before he was ever able to see his parents. He spent this time in solitary confinement, in a jail 80 miles from the city. He was questioned without the presence of his parents or a lawyer. His trial lasted only 2 hours, and the sentence was handed down 10 minutes later. The boy's parents were not allowed in the court room, and was subsequently expelled from that city after the trial. During his trial & until the day of his execution, George always carried a Bible in his hands. On the day of his execution, they used the Bible he was carrying as a booster seat because he was too short for the adult sized electric chair. 70 years after his execution, a judge in South Carolina finally overruled George's conviction. It was determined that the beam used in the murder, which weighed more than 19.07 kilograms, would have been too large for George to lift. There was no way he could have used it to strike the victims. ‘The Green Mile’ by Stephen King was inspired by George's case.
