If after watching this interaction, but you still think WOMEN should be patrolling our streets & protecting our law abiding citizens, YOUR OPINION MEANS NOTHING BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO FORM AN ARGUMENT TO KEEP THEM. This woman could have got multiple people killed. She failed to detain him, failed to subdue him while armed & failed to keep up with him. Putting all the people in the buildings & the other officers lives at risk. There is zero excuse for this. He should have got zapped while in front of her police cruiser or taken down with LETHAL FORCE while walking towards innocent people. I'll bet she is a Captain somewhere now that wants DEI in their shlitty town. Why are we doing this? It's like the LAFD with all their diverse Woah-mans to fight fires while admitting that they are incapable of carrying out a person larger (or even smaller than them because none of them looked to be in shape) to safety in a fire 🔥 NOT ALL PEOPLE ARE CAPABLE OR QUALIFIED TO WORK CERTAIN JOBS. That dude is lucky the cop was female. A male cop and especially a white cop would have lit his ass up and justifiably so when he was approaching towards the cop despite commands to get on the ground. So the suspect was facing away from her and the officer had no view of the gun or if the gun even existed until after the fact. Then she still fired from less than 10 yards and missed every shot, meaning all the rounds went into the apartments behind the suspect. 0/10 ma'am.

The incident happened after the suspect secretly removed his left hand from his handcuffs. When officers began driving to jail, the suspect attempted to open the squad car's rear door, prompting the officers to get out of the car, and eventually climbed into the driver’s seat and took off. One of the officers managed to jump into the backseat of the vehicle. That officer then attempted to stop the suspect by tasing him and striking him on the side of the head with his firearm. The suspect opened the driver’s side door and jumped out after driving what police said was a distance of about 1,000 feet. On May 16, 2026, at approximately 4:15 a.m., FWPD East Division officers were on scene working a previous officer involved shooting near the 4200 block of Wiman Drive. While still investigating the shooting, a white SUV drove by multiple times at a high rate of speed. It appeared the driver was attempting to hit officers standing near their vehicles. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver failed to stop. Officers pursued the SUV for approximately 15 minutes and eventually stopped the vehicle with a tactical vehicle intervention, also known as a PIT maneuver. Officers then approached the vehicle with their guns drawn and gave multiple verbal commands. The adult male subject did not comply with the officers’ orders and grabbed an officer’s handgun. At that point, multiple officers fired their guns and struck the suspect. Medical aid was provided by officers until the Fort Worth Fire Department arrived on scene. The male was pronounced deceased on scene. A Fort Worth Police Officer was injured during this incident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. It is unknown at this point how the officer was injured. The officer is listed in good condition. Detectives from the Major Case unit were called to the scene and are continuing the investigation.
