Family doc here and we're seeing the effects of this. I'm surprised it's not getting more national media attention

When the hospital I was admitted to was hacked, it meant no one could access medical records. Hospitalists could not see what other staff entered into the medical record. No access to handwritten notes. My spinal cord injury was missed, no access to MRI, labs, tests, imaging

Why can't someone hack one of these companies and not attack the patients, but like...hold the company ransom until they forgive all debt or something. Where are my hacking Robin Hoods!

I can’t wait for part two of this cyber attack saga. Where are you show UHC’s predatory provider loan program? Where they are praying on physician offices, giving them a $4000 monthly loan for over $50,000 in services provided each month.

The most horrifying part is how those that bore the most responsibility in preventing this from the first place, TRULY DO NOT F🤬CKING CARE! People will get hurt and could easily die from this. Especially vulnerable pts. that already face complications due to circumstances.

I tried to tell the doc office I wasn’t uploading my personal info over their website by remote prior to coming in to be seen because the sites weren’t secure they didn’t get it “it’s secure it’s phi” yeah they get hacked easily evidently every day I said hospitals & carriers 🙄

i work for a competing clearinghouse & this has disrupted and trickled down every avenue! really hate how some patients are paying OOP for rx bc systems can’t pull copay
