I lived in Haiti for 6 years and have many Haitian friends. One of them with TPS returned to Haiti as requested by CIS. He has been granted a new visa because he was in compliance. This administration is fair in its application of immigration laws. No racism detected.

The people who’ve come to America legally like this woman and my X husband had family provide for them. My X and his parents received no help from the government, they enrolled in school, got jobs and worked hard to assimilate and learned English. They did everything America asked of them with a smile and they lived in gratitude at the opportunity to take the citizenship test and became American citizens. The difference between my X and my in-laws and the Haitian people? The Haitian people have a sense of entitlement and we the people owe them nothing.
