I'll do you one better. Every penny an elected official collects over their normal salary is yours, too. Look that up. We've been bilked for years!

Not everyone paid that much in taxes per person, so this is an unrealistic idea. I like it, but we are trying to repair our debt not go into dept with pay outs to each citizen with one million dollars. as cool as the would be.

I’d be good with a large refund check, though not that big as it would perhaps cause more problems, and no more property or income taxes.

And that payment should come first from the politicians who have MUCH more money than their salary has earned them thru the years. Take Ilhan Omar for instance. $175k per year salary for 8 years. $83 million net worth.

While that sounds good up front its probably not a good idea. Prices would go through the roof.
