Diodato is a fair point but The Mamas didn’t get to perform as an individual group with their 2020 song - John Lundvik was the focus that year

BREAKING: Trump ignorantly attacks NATO: "If the US was in trouble and we called them... France, do you think they're gonna come and protect us? I'm not so sure." FACT: France lost 90 Lives and spent tens of billions of dollars fighting for us. FACT: The US is the only country to ever exercise Article 5. After the 9/11 attacks, NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in its history, declaring that an attack on the United States was an attack on all NATO members. The following NATO member states participated in military operations in Afghanistan under the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and later Operation Resolute Support: Countries That Exercised Article 5 to help us: - United States 🇺🇸 - United Kingdom 🇬🇧 - Canada 🇨🇦 - France 🇫🇷 - Germany 🇩🇪 - Italy 🇮🇹 - Netherlands 🇳🇱 - Belgium 🇧🇪 - Denmark 🇩🇰 - Norway 🇳🇴 - Spain 🇪🇸 - Portugal 🇵🇹 - Turkey 🇹🇷 - Greece 🇬🇷 - Czech Republic 🇨🇿 - Poland 🇵🇱 - Hungary 🇭🇺 - Slovakia 🇸🇰 - Slovenia 🇸🇮 - Romania 🇷🇴 - Bulgaria 🇧🇬 - Estonia 🇪🇪 - Latvia 🇱🇻 - Lithuania 🇱🇹 - Iceland 🇮🇸 (provided logistical support, as Iceland has no standing military) - Luxembourg 🇱🇺 (limited troop deployment and financial support) - Croatia 🇭🇷 (joined NATO in 2009, contributed afterward) - Albania 🇦🇱 (joined NATO in 2009, contributed afterward)

In 2009, Lin-Manuel Miranda was invited to perform at the White House. His musical “In The Heights” had just won a Grammy & 4 Tony Awards. So the White House expected him to perform something from Heights. Instead, he debuted a song from a hip-hop concept he’d been working on: Miranda explained that he'd been working on a “concept album about the life of someone I think embodies hip-hop...Treasury Secretary, Alexander Hamilton.” The crowd laughed. “You laugh, but it's true!”Miranda replied. “He was born a penniless orphan in St. Croix of illegitimate birth, became George Washington's right-hand man, became Treasury Secretary...All on the strength of his writing. He embodies the word's ability to make a difference.” Takeaway 1: Whenever Lin-Manuel Miranda told people he was working on a hip-hop concept about a founding father, they did what the White House did—they laughed at him. In fact, the day after that White House performance, Miranda got made fun of during a three-minute rant on The Daily Show. He worked on the concept for 8 years—so, Miranda said, “I had a lot of people laughing and looking at me like I was crazy for a very long time.” In 1817, the poet John Keats wrote a letter to his brothers to share an exciting realization. “At once it struck me,” Keats wrote, “what quality went to form a Man of Achievement … Negative Capability.” Keats explains that “Negative Capability” is “when a man is capable of being in uncertainties, mysteries, [and] doubts.” Rarer than talent or work ethic, Keats said, is the ability to step into and push through uncertainties and doubts, to continue working on something in spite of people laughing at you or looking at you like you're crazy. Takeaway 2: Rick Rubin was asked what he’s learned through making a lot of different kinds of music with a lot of different kinds of artists. “One thing is,” Rubin said, “never try to judge an idea based on the description of the idea.” There is always a gap between an idea in theory and in reality. Rubin explained, “An artist will say, ‘I have an idea, we can write the bridge like this,’ and they’ll give me a description of the idea, and it sounds terrible—the description sounds terrible. And I say, ‘Great, can’t wait to hear it.’ And then they do it, and it’s incredible…so we never rely on the description. It’s always, ‘show it to me. Let me hear it.’” When Lin-Manuel Miranda gave people a description of his idea, they laughed at him and looked at him like he was crazy. But eventually, Miranda didn’t have to rely on the description of his idea. Eventually, he got to show people "Hamilton," a musical that earned 11 Tony awards, the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the 2017 Billboard Music Award for Top Soundtrack, and the number eight spot on Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Albums of 2015. Never judge an idea based on the description of the idea. - - - “‘That won’t work’ is the worst thing you can ever say. ‘That didn’t work’ is cool, but ‘That won’t work’ is not a way to go through life.” — John Mayer Follow Billy Oppenheimer for more content like this!

Now that we have the tapes proving January 6th was not the violent insurrection we were told it was, let me enlighten you on what ACTUALLY happened that day. Flashback to January 4th, 2021. Pence promised that he was going to “hear the objections and evidence”, in reference to the massive irregularities and voter fraud in the 2020 election (video attached). Pence never got to hear those electors air their objections or evidence. The January 6th event at the Capitol was the means Pence used to justify NOT giving electors their day in Congress. Pence claimed the acts by Trump and his supporters were so heinous, that he was just going to certify the election the next day. Well, now that we have the January 6th tapes, it is clear this event was facilitated and coordinated by elements within our own government, and the evidence of this was intentionally withheld from the American People in order to continue perpetuating this massive lie. You witnessed an insurrection on January 6th 2021, but it wasn’t by Trump supporters. It was by establishment politicians, elements within the intelligence community, and State-controlled MSM outlets, who coordinated to generate, escalate, and exaggerate the situation in order to avoid electors airing their objections, in order to certify a stolen election. You witnessed treason and war waged on the American People. That’s what happened on January 6th. Our nation was stolen from us by corrupt elements within our own government. And all the hatred, discrimination, censorship, and vitriol towards Trump supporters, ALL of it was based on a lie. You best start believing in Orwellian dystopias. You’re in one.

This long, hard yet productive day is coming to an end. This morning, our Ukrainian delegation was in Moldova for the Summit of the European Political Community. I am grateful to Madam President of Moldova Maia Sandu for the invitation and warm and hospitable welcome. Throughout the day I’ve held many valuable meetings for the sake of 🇺🇦 and pan-European security. The President of 🇲🇩 and the President of 🇫🇷 Emmanuel Macron, the Prime Minister of the 🇬🇧 Rishi Sunak and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of 🇷🇴 Klaus Iohannis and the Prime Minister of 🇵🇹 António Costa, the Prime Minister of 🇦🇱 Edi Rama and the Prime Minister of 🇲🇰 Dimitar Kovachevski, the Prime Minister of 🇮🇹 Giorgia Meloni, the Prime Minister of 🇪🇸 Pedro Sánchez, the President of 🇨🇭 Alain Berset, the Prime Minister of the 🇨🇿 Petr Fiala, the President of 🇦🇿 Ilham Aliyev, the Chancellor of 🇩🇪 Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz. There was also an expanded format with representatives from the Prime Minister of 🇳🇱 Rob Jetten, the Prime Minister of 🇩🇰 Mette Frederiksen, the Prime Minister of 🇸🇪 Ulf Kristersson, the Prime Minister of 🇬🇧 Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of 🇵🇱 Mateusz Morawiecki and the Prime Minister of 🇧🇪 Alexander De Croo 🇺🇳. And, of course, there were meetings on the sidelines of the Summit and a joint meeting of all the participants. We are preparing new defense decisions for 🇺🇦, including air defense, sky shield, and our advance on the ground. We are preparing real political content for the #NATOSummit in Vilnius. We are preparing a package of security guarantees for our country on its way to the NATO. We are doing everything to bring the 🇪🇺 political decision on membership for 🇺🇦 closer. We are preparing a Peace Summit based on the Ukrainian #PeaceFormula. I would like to thank Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, for supporting our initiatives to protect 🇺🇦 children, to find and return those young Ukrainians who were deported to 🇷🇺. I would like to thank António Costa, President of the European Council, who today held a special security session at the Summit. I would also like to thank Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, for the decision on ammunition for 🇺🇦 – for supporting the allocation of additional 500 million euros for this purpose. Colleagues, friends, thank you for your help in bringing 🇺🇦 victory and justice in the world closer! We can do it together!

Sometimes I would wonder if Glen Hansard really existed…. Seriously, he was such an angelic presence… not otherworldly…in fact, very present this presence… A smiling rascal if you needed him to be… this most musical and mischievous archangel of Ballymun… no airs, plenty of graces... Of course, Glen was the shining star of the Christmas Eve busk… sometimes the only one reminding the rest of us that Christmas began with a refugee born in a manger, which is hardly a step from living on the street. To be utterly yourself by being more interested in others - a clue for any of us trying out different personas. He really was who you thought he was. He could never walk by a person living rough without checking they were OK… and more than that, he worked very hard so that less people had to live on the streets in the first place. When the crowds got bigger and for safety’s sake Glen had to agree to move the busk to a stage kindly provided outside The Gaiety Theatre, he would say 'we’ll give it our best but it’s not a busk if we’re not on the street!’ …because that’s who he was - a performer at eye level in any situation. The stage was a separation he wouldn’t recognize. Of all the grand and gigantic venues he and The Frames played, you sensed the street was his most favoured place to perform. And street people, his favourite audience. Voice of the streets. A choir of angels in one man. The rest of us blessed to stand there beside our very own and very earthed Angel Gabriel… All of us welcome in his choir, whatever shape or form. ….and I’m telling myself this morning that if he never existed, then he can never cease to exist. For me, he will always be everywhere I see a coin spinning into an open guitar case. May you rest in the peace you gave to so many. Bono

👀 Let’s really talk about it… Last night on Akademiks stream, he revealed that he reached out to people associated with Drake, and according to them, A$AP Rocky’s version of how the beef started is NOT accurate. Here’s what they allege happened 👇🏽 Yams Day 2020 situation (allegedly): •A$AP Rocky invited Drake to perform •Drake showed up, gifted Rocky a Yams Day chain, and waited to come out on stage •Drake believed he was there to perform, as agreed •Rihanna allegedly asked Drake, “Aren’t you supposed to perform?” •Drake responded, “I thought so that’s why I’m here” •Rihanna allegedly replied that Rocky might be insecure because of her past history with Drake According to Ak’s sources, Rocky never followed through with letting Drake perform allegedly power tripping because he didn’t want Drake outshining him in front of his girl. 👀 In short: Rocky low key played in Drake’s face at Yams Day 2020, then started moving funny with the slick disses. After that? Drake went straight to work and started cooking Rocky and other opps all over Dark Lane Demo Tapes. 🎧 Receipts in the music: “Pain 1993” “Niggas ain’t gotta respect Niggas just gotta accept I put that top left I love my crodie to death Hype Williams, Lil’ X If you don’t say it direct Could give a f—” ➡️ Clear shot at sneak dissing and indirect energy. “From Florida With Love” *“Rappers that I threw an alley oop are throwin’ subs (yeah) But they gotta dap me when they see me “When To Say When” “And I got your girl on the second floor, beggin’ me to put it in And it’s not because all of the money that you wouldn’t spend And it’s not because I set it up to try and get revenge It’s because you niggas insecure…” 😬 That insecurity line hits very different with the Yams Day story

After the 2024 Election, but before President Trump returned to the White House, he stated that he will not turn the page and concede the 2020 Election. I do not believe the 2020 Election is over. I understand I sound crazy to some people, and trust me, I understand why. But, ever since President Trump first walked down the golden escalator with Melania, he has been signaling to us what is to come, and he has yet to be wrong about any of it. I believe the 2020 Election was the biggest sting operation in history, and that the truth is finally about to be revealed to the world. President Trump also put the entire UNselect J6 committee on notice, especially Liz Cheney and Benny Thompson. They destroyed all of their so called evidence about January 6. Why would they do that? You know why they did that, as there is only one reason why they would do that. They are all guilty. Their evidence was all fabricated. Their job was to cover up the fact that what happened on January 6 was a cover up of the stolen election, and they used FBI agents and paid Antifa members to dress up as MAGA and breach the Capitol building, setting up a fake insurrection in order to force the certification of their fraudulent election. The real insurrection took place on November 3rd, 2020. Lastly, and this should not be ignored, when she said that the Democrats have control of the White House, Trump sort of questioned her, making it stand out. If Trump caught them all, and he never conceded, isn’t it reasonable to think that maybe the military got involved to safeguard the country from “Biden”starting WW3, which is what the Democrats wanted? Don’t ever forget about the Dash. The dash matters. 45 - 47 (45,46,47) Unfortunately, it had to be this way. It was the safest option. Us United was their greatest fear, and they did an amazing job of dividing us at that time via the Mockingbird Media. There would have been a civil war. Trump would have looked like the dictator they all said he was. The people needed to be shown, not told.

Tom Segura has been doing stand-up comedy for ~25 years. He's known for his Netflix specials and a TV show called Bad Thoughts. His stand-up sets are based in stories and simple observations around the world. The guy can look at something you've seen a thousand times but never managed to find the humor in. At one point during the interview I was laughing so hard that I could barely ask the next question. I asked Tom how he finds jokes, develops stories for the stage, what he's learned from Chris Rock, and how to turn ordinary observations into comedy. Timestamps: 0:37 How to find jokes 2:03 Why are comedians always annoyed? 7:19 Say the obvious 11:06 What makes a joke land? 13:11 The 250 rep rule 15:07 Chris Rock 19:33 The 4 types of comedians 21:44 Use the audience's discomfort 24:39 The key to good stage presence 32:00 Mall cops and TSA agents 36:50 How to develop a joke 38:56 Stand-up vs. TV writing 49:11 Finding your way into the story 54:08 Punchlines 55:16 What a set list looks like 58:15 Word choice 59:31 Accents 1:03:50 How to start a show 1:08:01 Writing a book Some things he taught me about being funny: 1) The best mindset to bring on stage is silliness. 2) You must have strong opinions. Indifference kills comedy. You can say "this is the best coffee I've ever had" and make it funny. You can say "this is the worst coffee" and make it funny. But "it's fine, I don't care" is never funny. 3) You can tell the difference between a world-class comic and an amateur one by their relationship with silence. Amateur comics get jittery if a few seconds pass without laughter, whereas seasoned comics use it to their advantage. 4) Good word choice matters more than you'd think. "Yanked" is a funnier word than "pulled." Yiddish words are funny. An easy way to pick up on this is to listen to how naturally funny people describe things. 5) How to find jokes? Talk all the time. Talk and talk, and develop the skill of recognizing when something you've said has legs. I've shared the full episode with Tom Segura below. If you'd rather watch on YouTube, or listen on Apple / Spotify, check out the reply tweets. Tom Segura AKA Mr. Ladybug

This story is so crazy for multiple reasons. First and most importantly: It reflects poorly on Charlie who—according to Candace—apparently started having Ben at Am Fest, inviting Ben on his show to promote his books, and tweeting in Ben’s favor because…donors pressured him too? And then he…ditched Candace at TPUSA events like Am Fest because…donors told him too? I feel like in their rabid quest to somehow implicate Jewish donors for Charlie’s murder, Candace and her fans are making Charlie look really weak-willed, disloyal, fake, and money-hungry. Which doesn’t seem like he was. Also, there’s no evidence for any of this—no evidence of what Charlie allegedly told her, no evidence of what Andrew allegedly told her, no evidence Ben actually sent an intern to try to embarrass Candace onstage at YWLS. No one ever copped to it when she got upstage and called them out, and certainly Ben never copped to it. This could’ve just been another Candace lie or yet another time she was given bad info and ran with it. She enjoys drama, stirring the pot, and being the center of attention at all times. Lastly, she’s referred several times now to how “they” tried to take everything from her—her name, her reputation, her platform, her money, etc. Gosh you’d think no one has ever been fired before. You’d think no one had ever had beef with a former boss before. You’d think she was the first to go through this tragedy. Bottom line is DW made her famous. And when she was fired, they didn’t have the power to take that name and fame from her—even if they wanted to. She didn’t have to start over from scratch. She had a name, fame, her audience, money, and people (like me) who supported her. She acts like DW “de-personed” her—or tried. And I say ALL of this as someone who supported Candace at the time and publicly agreed with that tweet of hers; it has always bothered me how some people act like no innocents exist in Gaza. But this all just absurd at this point. Sounds like her more sour grapes that she was once again excluded.

What many people don’t know is that between 2007 and 2009, Solid Star recorded a lot of songs, but as the A&R and CEO of the label, I knew something was still missing. The talent was obvious, the vocals were amazing, but there was a particular spark I was searching for that I hadn’t heard yet in any of the records. One day, I called him and said, “Look, I don’t want another fast-tempo song. I need something different. Give me a mid-tempo record, something with a bounce, something emotional. Just write a proper love song.” He agreed and went to work on it. After a while, he came back and said, “I’ve written the love song. Do you want to hear it?” I told him yes immediately. Around that same period, we were at Comfort Suites in Festac, and luckily for us, the late legendary producer OJB Jezreel was there that night working with 2Baba. I introduced Solid Star to OJB and told him we really wanted to work with him. OJB welcomed the idea and asked us to come back in a few days. When we got to the appointment, OJB said he wanted to hear the song first.Solidstar sang the song for him, and almost instantly he caught the vision. Within less than 40 minutes, OJB had already created the beat, Solid Star had voiced the track, and the foundation of One in a Million was born. After the recording, OJB looked at me and said something I would never forget: “If you can get 2Face on this song, it will be massive. This sounds like something he would naturally jump on.” That advice changed everything. As soon as I got back to Festac, I took the song to 2Baba. Before he even traveled to Abuja for his 10-year anniversary celebration, he was already vibing heavily to the song. By the time he got to Abuja, he knew the lyrics almost word for word. He told me he already had ideas for what he wanted to add to the record. Then he said something that became another major turning point in Solid Star’s career: “If you don’t mind, bring Solidstar to Abuja to perform.” That Abuja event — 2Face’s 10-year anniversary — became Solid Star’s very first major stage performance. After they returned from Abuja, 2Face called me again and said, “Bring Solo to the house. I want to record my verse.” And that was how the legendary collaboration finally came together. Once the audio was done, I approached Clarence Peters with the song. He listened carefully and immediately said he had a strong visual concept for it. He suggested we travel all the way to Erin Ijesha water falls for the shoot and also involve legendary photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi in the creative process. Everything sounded incredible — until he gave me the budget. It was a seven-figure production cost, which at that time was a huge risk for us as a growing label. I took the proposal back to my directors and explained everything to them. After deliberating, we all agreed on one thing: “Let’s give it a shot.” And that was how we traveled toOsun state and shot the iconic One in a Million video. On another note, I’ll still tell the full story of how I eventually got 2Baba to personally appear in that video.
