And if eventually they choose that they don't believe in the same things that I believe in, I want to make it really clear and obvious that they don't want to be on this team because we're not about that. You know what I'm saying? I want it to be very easy, obvious, that, ‘Hey I should not be on this team. Because this team is full of very positive people who have great energy and talk to people, not about them.’ And we solve problems. We don't complain. We don't get defensive. We're real. I recognize I'm imperfect and I'm vulnerable to show you that about me. I want to be on that kind of a team. And if there's somebody who doesn’t believe in that stuff, I want to make it really easy for them to say, ‘Look, I don't want to be on this team. I don't wanna live like you guys live. Running this page has opened my eyes to how many racists who hate white people we have living amongst us. It’s disgusting. I see on a daily basis, people in the comments banging on about slavery and colonialism. They don’t realise the luckiest day of their lives was being born in a western democracy. They have lived a life of privilege but like to be a victim. They are angry with white people moving into black countries hundreds of years ago. But perfectly fine with black people moving to white countries in the present day. They call it immigration when it’s them. They are in support of people being able to live wherever they want. Just not when it’s white people. That’s colonialism and it’s evil. They don’t realise they are everything that they hate the colonisers for. They take all the benefits of being here. But still hate us for it. They use history and things that didn’t happen to them as a scapegoat to be openly hateful towards us. In their own mind it justifies their racism so they can still hold the self righteous belief they are a good person. But when I see people like this. It restores my faith in immigration. It’s good to know that this can sometimes be the outcome. Not everyone is selfish and only care about their own race. There are plenty of people who care about us too. Plenty of people see it for what it is and stand by our side and I have nothing but respect for them. I wish everyone was like that. Thank you to this man for speaking out for us and showing common sense. Because when we say this, they call is far right racists and fascists. But in reality we are only human just like anyone else. Only we are taught to just accept this and eat shit and be happy. It’s double standards and this man is bang on it 👏👏

Those of us focused on this work understand that some officials don’t want us all voting. They want the people who agree with them voting. I mentioned on rolandsmartin that @syritarsteib, @emilewashington, @wcsnowden and I went to St. James Parish to talk with Black folks about their power. It’s not wrong for Black people to want to see our tax dollars working for our communities. When the lack of Black leadership makes that deficit worse, uplifting Black leadership isn’t racist — it’s survival and wisdom. Right now, people from THIS state are trying to dismantle the Voting Rights Act. To act like race isn’t a factor is a lie. If we want a thriving future, we must use our critical mass, and demand real outcomes in return for our support. We pay into a system — and it should pay back into our communities. We are not hopeless or powerless, we are misinformed, uninformed, or disengaged. All of which can be addressed. When people ask what can we do, start talking to people and asking deeper questions to ensure they understand their power.

Many people in different places have been affected by this behavior. If you come across people like that, please just block them. If they’re caught later, I won’t let it slide. What’s upsetting is that they don’t attack me directly. Instead, they target the fans who support me, spreading negativity and telling others not to like me. Please don’t let that affect you. As I always say, your own life should come first. Isn’t that what will truly make you happy? The moment we stop living our own lives, we become unhappy. I’m simply someone who fills a small space in your day when you’re tired, exhausted, bored, want to laugh, or have nothing to do. You are the main character of your own life, not me. I hope I can be a bonus in your life that helps you feel a little happier and healthier. But if I ever become the center of your life to the point that it makes you unhappy, then I think something has gone wrong.

🐿 I don’t know the exact details of the situation, so I can’t talk about it deeply, but I heard a lot about it - literally right after getting off the plane. People keep saying it’s “pirates getting things taken away,” but honestly, at first it was just a funny little meme between us. Now, though, it seems like our fans have been really hurt by it. And since fans are the ones who speak up first, it’s hard for me to say this or that about it - but honestly, I feel the same way. It hurts me too when things like this happen. And really, if I were to say exactly who did what or why, too many people would end up getting hurt. So what I truly hope is that the people involved - the adults and staff - will handle things in a way that protects our ATINYs’ precious memories and doesn’t hurt them. That’s what I wish for. Publicly, though, this is all I can really say to ATINYs. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I’m not someone who’s afraid to speak my mind or say things with conviction. But I’ve also seen how, when you speak up, sometimes people who shouldn’t be hurt end up getting hurt. That’s why it’s difficult for me to act recklessly. I feel the same way as ATINYs - truly. #Youngjae reflects on mental health, sharing how he once felt like he couldn’t run away and why he wants to remind fans that it’s okay to seek help 👤 i don’t remember exactly when, but there was a time you talked about going through something really tough in the past, was that on the radio? 🌙 yes, i talked about it a lot on the radio. and as i kept talking about it, i started getting messages about things like depression and panic disorder. and actually, because i’ve experienced it myself, i feel like there’s something i can say to people going through it. the truth is, i couldn’t run away. 👤 right 🌙 i couldn’t run away. for me, running away would’ve made things worse. i was in a situation where i couldn’t run away, and even if i did, i’d end up being dragged back. that's how it was for me. but looking back now, i want to tell them it’s really okay. that it would’ve been okay to run away. and because i’ve expressed my struggles through my lyrics and shared them openly, i don’t think there’s anything shameful about it. in the past, when you say you’re going to a psychiatrist, well, things have changed a lot these days. these days, people say, “if you’re struggling, you should go get help,” but back then, it felt like you had to hide it. like it meant you had some kind of serious illness. that was the general perception at the time. that's why people ended up keeping it to themselves. but there’s no need to do that at all. there’s no need to be ashamed. this is something anyone might go through at some point in life. so i told those people not to think that way. 👤 i feel like doing radio helped you develop more empathy. 🌙 that’s true 👤 even though you’ve grown distant from me, it feels like you’ve gotten closer to the rest of the country 🌙 i think chinchin might have done something wrong 👤 weren’t we kind of close? 🌙 i think chinchin made a mistake. anyway, developing that empathy made me want to talk about these things more. because from a listener’s point of view, they might just see me as a celebrity. but i didn’t want to be seen that way. people often use the word “public figure,” but i’m not one. i don’t get paid by the government, so i’m not a public figure. i just happen to have a job like anyone else. 👤 you’re just someone who is more well-known. 🌙 yeah, just someone who works in the public eye, but i’m no different from anyone else. that’s what i really wanted to say. 👤 but even though you want to say that and you do believe it, there’s that feeling, right? like, “even if i keep saying this, will people really see me as the same?” 🌙 that’s true 👤 and that thought can feel frustrating 🌙 that’s why i talk about it even more. i do the same things too. like, i lie down on the floor before i go take a shower, and an hour or two passes, and i go, “ya, i need to shower now.” it's the same. our life is just the same. we’re all just specks of dust in the universe. we're really all the same. i guess i just want to feel closer to people.

How many of us feel like this man? “I don’t know about y’all but I’m ready for people to start going to jail for what they’ve done or just shut up about it. Because every time I hear some s**t that DOGE has found….nobody goes to jail. All you’re doing by that is pissing me off. It’s hard enough to pay taxes but then I gotta’ pay taxes after I hear this bull crap? “ “If you’re not going to hold these people accountable. If you’re not going to send these people to jail. Then…quit telling me about it.” I understand and feel his frustration. I’m betting that we all feel like this guy. The wheels of Justice are slow. Is there going to be Justice? We all want to see arrests!
