Maybe TBSN is hearing differently than me, but I want to at least clarify because this phrasing runs similar to some things I said yesterday. I haven’t heard about Brown making guys look silly (at least not consistently); I have heard about him making plays though. I was sharing what I’d been hearing about Brown so far this spring and had shared with Jimmy recently — not what I had heard about Brown from the scrimmage. I was excited when DeBoer praised him though, because it had backed up everything I had heard about him so far. Don’t know if this clip was using what I said or if they were running off different info, but just wanted to clarify in case any confusion was created. He’s looked good and made things happen — and that’s pretty much been the case even with him starting to see opportunities against better competition (or at least it was heading into yesterday’s scrimmage). Don’t think much — if any — of that has been against the first-team though. He’s not standing out *that much.* And I don’t know of him making everybody put in front of him look silly. I was able to get a decision reversed, when it came to Social Security hearing offices. I was able to deliver on SALT.” “To me, it's a function of, Do your job. Don't just whine. Go do your job. All of us, as members of Congress, are duly elected to represent our districts. I'm constantly in touch with the White House, on things that matter to my district, and working through it. So, I don't agree with that sentiment. I also don't agree with going out and bitching to the press about it. The fact is, be an adult, get in the room, argue about the things we need to get done.”

NCAA Champion Michael La Sasso is now the youngest player on LIV Golf after signing for Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers GC during the off season. He explained his decision to join the league ahead of the season opener in Riyadh: “One of the things that went into my decision, when I was 10 years old starting to play golf, like, the goal for me was to play professional golf. Having people that have been very well-known in the golf space and are so experienced, and to be able to be a part of a team that's with Phil, somebody that's had so much experience, I feel like he'll be able to answer any question that I throw at him, to have the ability to be able to ask somebody that on a daily basis, that played a very big part in it for me because not every 21-year-old has the opportunity to be able to ask questions to those people. So that was a big factor for me. “I think so far, I'm so grateful that I made the decision, and I am very happy to be here.” Michael also says that Caleb Surratt, who joined Jon Rahm’s LIV Golf team for the 2024 season, had an impact on his decision too: “So, I've had a very good relationship with Caleb Surratt. Not many people know this, but he was committed to NC State at the same time I was. He's from North Carolina, I'm from North Carolina. Growing up, I played a lot of golf with him, and we were very close. “I remember when he first came here, he stayed at my house because he was getting a swing lesson from -- we go to the same instructor. Everything that he had to say, it made me excited. From a very early start, hearing about LIV and every perk that it had and hearing him talk so highly about it, the fact that I actually had an opportunity to come out here and play, and I asked him a bunch of questions and kind of from the start, everything that he had to say and people that I talked to, everything was so, so good.” He went on to say about the prospect of playing team golf: “I think that makes the transition a little bit easier. I feel like my golf has kind of taken off when I've been in a team environment. For me, having a team around me was very appealing. “I've played good golf as a team. I like the camaraderie, kind of the friendly banter that goes back and forth between the guys. For me to have the opportunity to come play on a team environment for a professional career, I think that's the coolest thing ever.” This is Michael’s rookie season as a pro after signing for HyFlyers GC straight out of college. Normally, it’s a difficult transition for young players to make, but Michael isn’t short of confidence and has some lofty goals: “I've talked with a bunch of people on the team. I know Phil is very big on having a team win and an individual win. Now being the youngest player in the league, I'd kind of like to come in and make a good noise, and I would like to win a couple times. I would like to see the team win for sure, as a team event. Moore: When we watch the commander-in-chief speak, he’s actually adding confusion to an already very confusing situation. It’s not just that Donald Trump doesn’t seem interested in actually knowing the details. He doesn’t seem interested in having a clear thesis to work toward — except, perhaps, “I want to win the Nobel Peace Prize. What I saw at the Tommy Robinson hearing today Today Tommy Robinson (Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧) had a hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice. The judge was Martin Chamberlain. The question at hand was this: are Tommy’s prison conditions dire enough that he needs an expedited hearing to review how the prison is treating him? As in: are things so bad that the courts need to move very quickly to review things — as opposed to their normal, slow pace? On Tommy’s team was prison lawyer Sara Watson and a barrister named Alisdair Williamson, KC. (Williamson was Tommy’s successful lawyer last year, when the Metropolitan Police tried to ban Tommy from going into the city of London. He’s really good.) On the other side was a battery of government lawyers — I counted four, led by Tom Cross, KC. Just stop for a moment to think about that: the UK government hired FOUR lawyers, at taxpayers expense, to fight against Tommy Robinson’s request to have an expediting hearing to review his atrocious treatment in prison. They probably spent more than £150,000 of tax dollars just on today’s battle. (Imagine if Keir Starmer put that much energy and effort into fighting real crime in the UK.) It’s not justice. It’s a vendetta. I’ve attended a lot of trials for Tommy over the years; he’s won some and he’s lost some. But this one felt good. Tommy’s team had a report from an expert psychologist who went to prison to examine Tommy. She found that, being kept in a small cell 21 hours a day, for more than 140 days, has induced a kind of PTSD in Tommy. The government didn’t even try to contradict those findings. They did, however, try to say that Tommy had all the privileges he could ask for, including visits, phone calls, a computer, TV and the like. But as the government lawyer was saying that, Tommy — who was on a video link from prison — started waving his hands, signalling to the judge that he had something to say. The judge stopped the proceedings and invited Williamson to phone Tommy to see what the fuss was about. The court took a half hour break. And then something incredible happened. The government lawyer had just been bragging about how luxurious Tommy’s treatment was — including how many phone calls he could make. But when the court resumed, Tommy held up a sign to the video camera in his prison video room. And on it, he wrote that the prison had cut off the phone call in the middle of his conversation with Williamson! The judge saw that note and asked what happened. And indeed it was true: literally in the middle of Tommy’s conversation with Williamson, the bullies at the prison cut off the phone call, as they have done to him so many times before. As Williamson said to the judge, the one act of misconduct that the entire court witnessed proved that when it came to Tommy, there’s a big difference between what the prison says and what the prison does. The judge was angry — remember, it was he who had asked Williamson to consult with Tommy; it was an important part of the hearing, to make sure the judge had all the facts. The bullies at the prison weren’t just messing around with Tommy this time; they were messing around with a judge. The judge tore a strip off the government lawyer, and had a one-hour break for Tommy to talk to his lawyers properly. When we all resumed, the judge said the prison’s shenanigans had delayed things so much, the judge wasn’t ready to release his ruling today — he’ll do that tomorrow. What a note to end on. I’m not saying it’s a sure thing that Tommy is going to win. But it couldn’t have been a clearer illustration of how the prison casually abuses Tommy, and gaslights him about it. But honestly, there’s something even prettier. Please look forward to it. When I was in Wuhan, China, the first poster came out. And it felt kind of strange. Of course, when we did the fan-con before, we released posters too. But this is my first concert since I was born, so it feels new, different, and exciting. I thought to myself, “Wow… now there’s really no turning back. I can’t go backwards anymore. Now I just have to do it.” So I’m really excited. But there’s still so much to do and so many things to organize. Honestly, I can’t ask everyone to understand everything. I’m working really hard, putting in a lot of passion and doing my best. But if you happen to see some parts that feel a little lacking, I hope you’ll understand. Actually, before, I worked together with staff from many different departments. But now I’m in a position where I’m involved in everything, choosing everything, participating in everything, giving opinions on everything. So the pressure is really huge. I’m not saying “please understand all of that,” but since everything is my choice, I also have to take responsibility for everything. That’s why it feels very burdensome sometimes. Every single cut, every detail—credits, lyrics, everything, I’ve spent time choosing them. Sometimes I feel discouraged, but when I think, “Fans will probably like this,” I gain strength again. I don’t know the correct answers beforehand. I choose things based on what feels right to me. I hope you all will like those choices, and I believe you will. So I’m preparing everything very hard. This time two posters were released with the concert dates, and I’m glad that many of you seem to like them. What I can confidently say is that I’m doing my best to give you really good things. And I think I understand a little about what you all like the most, so I had some confidence in that. DOWNPLAY: Watch this ABC panel on Mamdani's attempted DSA hijacking of the NYC congressional delegation, which makes no mention of his endorsement against a sitting incumbent. JON KARL: All right, the roundtable is back. Uh. So Faiz, let me ask you about what we just heard before the break. Uh, from Mayor Mamdani, uh, saying that basically the Democratic Party needs backbone. Is the Democratic Party heading in his direction? Democratic socialists of America? I mean, we saw another DSA candidate win the primary here in DC. They got to the runoff in Los Angeles. Is that where the energy in the party is now? FAIZ SHAKIR: Yeah. And populist left candidates Graham Platner, Abdullah el-Sayed, a bunch of people who are doing very well right now. And the reason- well, you have to ask why, why are they doing so well? And part of the reason, what Mayor Mamdani is saying is you have to have an agenda. So we're living in a period of scarcity. Donald Trump is saying $132 billion for Iran. That's great. We should spend that. Instead, we can't have Medicare for All. We can't have- we have to cut Medicaid. We can't have affordable childcare in this country, got to cut food stamps, can't do anything about, um, decency of raising the minimum wage to a living wage. No, none of those things are possible, according to Trump. And according to most conservative, you know, center left and center right politicians- status quo-ism. And here you have a movement that is building support because saying, “here's an affirmative agenda of a vision that is improving the lives of working-class people in this country.” KARL: But, Donna, can that agenda win nationally? DONNA BRAZILE: Look, the affordability agenda has many voices. And at a time when the Democratic Party is still searching its way out of the 2024 campaign, I feel like every week we're in the coroner's office reviewing another autopsy. It's not just about your spine and your brain and your heart. It's about making sure that you have an agenda that inspires the American people. Whether you live in Washington, D.C., Seattle, New York, that, yeah, they may be moving in that direction, but most Democrats are pragmatic. They're centrist. They're also bold in their solution. They understand that Progressives want a voice within the party. But I don't believe that this- this so-called energy is going to carry us forward unless we can build coalitions and coalitions that can earn us the votes of the American people. KARL: Chris? CHRIS CHRISTIE: Um, look, this is fine. You know, in this post, uh, 2024 period, um, for the rise of folks like Mamdani, they have to show they can actually do the job. He's in the easy part right now. He gets to give speeches, he gets to wear a Knicks jersey. He gets to, you know, run a parade, which I was there, it was sketchy. Um, in terms of the way the city helped to run that. KARL: He's off to a pretty good start, though, isn't he? CHRISTIE: But Jon. KARL: I mean, even… CHRISTIE: He's off to a pretty good start. What does that mean? He has not yet accomplished any of what he talked about in his campaign.. KARL: Well, he’s been in office.. SHAKIR: Well, child care… CHRISTIE: …how do we.. how do we... SHAKIR: Child care expansion has occurred. Potholes are being fixed. Snow shoveling occurred. CHRISTIE: Oh, really? You’ve driven in New York? Potholes have been fixed? And that's why, you know, you want to believe the rhetoric the Mamdani people put out they’re fixing things. He hasn't done anything yet. I'm not saying he can't. He has not. So to say he's off to a good start means he hasn't thrown up in his shoes. Well, congratulations. That's a great thing. And he can run a rally for a team that wins the NBA championship. Great job. What he's saying right now is all rhetoric and no accomplishment. And I think what Democrats have to show, especially if they get Congress back this fall, is that they can accomplish some things. And the Sanders wing of the party has never shown that they can accomplish anything. Big speeches, no accomplishments. SHAKIR: There's a finger wag here going on of elites who say, “hey, look at these dumb people. Look at this. Mayor Mamdani not doing anything.” Look at the people of New York. What are they saying? His unpopularity has been increasing. Why? Just be curious about it. Why do regular working class New Yorkers, some people who voted against him are saying, hey, I like this guy. What's he doing? He wakes up every day with a sense of integrity, of saying, I'm going to improve your life. I'm focused on you. Yeah, I could be worried about Ken Griffin. I could be worried about private equity. I could be worried about Michael Bloomberg. But I'm worried about you. And I'm going to try to work on things. And you, you and I know like you've had a tough job as Mayor or Governor of New Jersey. It is hard to be a person in charge. And yet, while he does it with integrity, a desire to improve working class people, he's focused on the underdogs. And it’s working for him.

CHRIS CHRISTIE: Um, look, this is fine. You know, in this post, uh, 2024 period, um, for the rise of folks like Mamdani, they have to show they can actually do the job. He's in the easy part right now. He gets to give speeches, he gets to wear a Knicks jersey. He gets to, you know, run a parade, which I was there, it was sketchy. Um, in terms of the way the city helped to run that. KARL: He's off to a pretty good start, though, isn't he? CHRISTIE: But Jon. KARL: I mean, even… CHRISTIE: He's off to a pretty good start. What does that mean? He has not yet accomplished any of what he talked about in his campaign.. KARL: Well, he’s been in office.. SHAKIR: Well, child care… CHRISTIE: …how do we.. how do we... SHAKIR: Child care expansion has occurred. Potholes are being fixed. Snow shoveling occurred. CHRISTIE: Oh, really? You’ve driven in New York? Potholes have been fixed? I know. of course, SHAKIR: I did. I did- just went there yesterday. CHRISTIE: Of course you haven’t. And that's why, you know, you want to believe the rhetoric the Mamdani people put out they’re fixing things. He hasn't done anything yet. I'm not saying he can't. He has not. So to say he's off to a good start means he hasn't thrown up in his shoes. Well, congratulations. That's a great thing. And he can run a rally for a team that wins the NBA championship. Great job. What he's saying right now is all rhetoric and no accomplishment. And I think what Democrats have to show, especially if they get Congress back this fall, is that they can accomplish some things. And the Sanders wing of the party has never shown that they can accomplish anything. Big speeches, no accomplishments. SHAKIR: There's a finger wag here going on of elites who say, “hey, look at these dumb people. Look at this. Mayor Mamdani not doing anything.” Look at the people of New York. What are they saying? His unpopularity has been increasing. Why? Just be curious about it. Why do regular working class New Yorkers, some people who voted against him are saying, hey, I like this guy. What's he doing? He wakes up every day with a sense of integrity, of saying, I'm going to improve your life. I'm focused on you. Yeah, I could be worried about Ken Griffin. I could be worried about private equity. I could be worried about Michael Bloomberg. But I'm worried about you. And I'm going to try to work on things. And you, you and I know like you've had a tough job as Mayor or Governor of New Jersey. It is hard to be a person in charge. And yet, while he does it with integrity, a desire to improve working class people, he's focused on the underdogs. And it’s working for him.

She has one of the best seats on the future that exists. Sydney Sykes runs the NVIDIA Inception program's venture relationships. She works with all the other VCs investing in AI startups. After hearing about what Inception is (it helps accelerate the many startups in the NVIDIA ecosystem) we dive into what is going on because of what I see as a major inflection point that AI just brought. You can feel it. The AI world has sped up in the past few weeks. Worthy of watching, but I know you are busy with your own agents. So I don't have time to watch nearly as many videos as I once did. Who said AI would make us all jobless? They are wrong.
