Learners from the Ohangwena Region excelled in the newly introduced Innovation category at the Mathematics and Science Awards, hosted by the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC). Today I inspected Govt. Primary School Masood, which is just 20 mins away from Chandigarh. Yet, there’s no washroom, no boundary wall, no proper classroom, no furniture, & students were not able to do even basic Maths or English. School had a projector which was never used & two computer systems that have never opened. And it was a “Smart School” of previous governments but only on papers! Suspended both the teachers. Two new teachers have been deployed in their place & a grant of Rs 50 Lakhs has also been issued for the school.

Home Affairs has heard the pleas of South Africans living abroad, who have struggled for years to renew their passports and IDs, often waiting 12+ months just to get a new passport. From end July, we’re launching new facilities abroad - with a turnaround time of just 5 weeks. We’re starting in Australia, New Zealand and the UAE this month, followed by France, Germany and The Netherlands later this year, and the USA and Canada in the new year. But even this step is still just an interim solution. Our ultimate aim is to deliver Home Affairs @ home, which will enable every South African - no matter where they are on the planet - to obtain services from their government online 🇿🇦

For this Congolese, who has visited mines in Maniema, North Kivu and Ituri and conducted his own field research, one of the biggest looters of Congolese minerals is not Rwanda, but South Africa! "Why were South African troops protecting Goma's international airport?" he asks rhetorically. He explains that it's because there are South African helicopters bringing minerals from Walikale (North Kivu) to Goma airport. These minerals belong to a global mining company called MPC, which has offices and representatives in South Africa. He says he has known MPC since 2003. Since then, he says, the South Africans have taken unquantifiable quantities of coltan and casserite minerals. Why don't we talk about South Africa, he asks? “Why don't we talk about the Lebanese and Indian traders who are based in Goma?” He concludes that the only reason the Congolese talk about Rwanda is because Rwanda is their number one enemy. Rwanda is a trigger for the Congolese, he insists. He also dismisses claims that Rwanda is plundering DRCongo. He argues that there are no Rwandans in Congolese mines, not even in the Rubaya mines controlled by the M23. "They know they are not welcome," he says. Chidimma is trending because South Africans want to disqualify her from representing Nigeria at the Miss Universe, Mexico. This week, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina's family were found guilty of identity fraud, and had their South African documents were revoked by court order, after giving them some time to defend themselves. This whole identity issue forced Chidimma Adetshina and her family to leave the country, but South African authorities are wondering how Chidimma's mother was able to leave the country without a valid document. However, Chidimma who is now fully Nigerian, won the Miss Nigeria paegent and now in Mexico to represent her beloved Nation at the world stage. But woke South Africans have written to the organizers to disqualify her, even before the event fully begins. On the basis of "her mother is guilty of identity fraud, and they risked their lives to uncover it" Interestingly, the Mzanzi's are not unified on this issue. Many think it is unnecessary, as she's no longer South African, no longer in their country. Hence, there is no need to pursue the case anymore. But the woke left, insist she must pay for her crimes. This is the curse of Kenya. I know, first hand, that more than 90% of the white teachers in international schools in Kenya are NOT qualified to teach the subjects they teach, they are there for their colour to fool the rich African parents who are suffering from inferiority complex into paying millions (of Kenyan Shillings) per term for the the same education they themselves got for a pittance. I see politicians, banking tycoons, insurance tycoons etc cowering and looking embarrassingly sheepish as they get progress reports from the white teachers of their children, looking up to them as though they are in the presence of Jesus himself... then they walk arrogantly to us, the African teachers who do the actual work and introduce themselves and listen nonchalantly to whatever we have to say. They then part with their millions in fees, hundreds of thousands for a trip to London for their children and stand in small groups praising the school because it has very many white teachers. In parliament, they block capitation (budget allocation) for public schools. Neocolonialism 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
