Heartbreaking 💔💔💔 Kirti Chakra (Posthumous) for the utterly selfless Captain Anshuman Singh for saving the lives of several soldiers in a fire at an ammunition dump near his bunker in Siachen in July 2023. His wife collected his medal.

She is the widow of Captain Anshuman Singh, who sacrificed his life for this country while trying to save the lives of his fellow soldiers. Her face while accepting the "Kirti Chakra" on behalf of her husband... Today we are safe because of them because only their blood is mixed in the soil of this country...

Seeing such stories of bravery makes me think whatever I have achieved till now is nothing 🙏
