Police Scotland advised McInnes to get his players off the pitch. Also IFAB rules state only a referee can end a football match. So it literally doesn’t matter when a manager wants a game ended.

Its not ip to clubs when a game ends, its up to match officials. If the ref was forced to end the game early, there should be recriminations regardless of it being 30 seconds or 30 minutes

Ending the game to secure players immediate safety is a long way from saying what happened was ok. Game only abandoned for that reason. Punishment should follow.
