Tim is such an insufferable midwit

This was a master class, Jay. 👏🏻

is here

Tim: "There are better moral philosophies than Christianity, but we haven't discovered them yet." "I'm not a utilitarian." "Rights are grounded because the outcomes are better."

Tim: I don’t believe in the Christian God Also Tim: the principle of God is largely a Christian God

what do you mean?

@DannyDiaz97839 Meaning Tim just shut down the debate

@JayDyer Hey retard, Tim was asserting an arbitrary & circular standard of virtue and value judgments, which Jay very explicitly stated multiple times. You have never studied any of this and have no idea what you’re talking about.

It amazes me how Tim has millions of subs by not reading a single book about anything!

His cognitive fuel is games, skateboards, and Marvel. It shows.

Tim cannot handle being wrong or speaking to someone more intelligent than him. He's a deeply insecure person, as evident by his pathetic beaniemaxxing.

My favorite part is when he went for like five minutes speaking of irrelevant nonsense. And also him getting irate for his perspective being rightfully labeled as utilitarianism, similar reaction to a transgender being misgendered.

I want to see you and @JamieLHanshaw on Rogan next!!

Jay I thought that was an excellent lesson on epistemology there but I also see it as a huge missed opportunity. Tim’s understanding of Christianity is rudimentary as is apparent from his questions about Leviticus. I genuinely think he doesn’t know that the mosaic law was fulfilled in Christ, doesn’t understand fulfillment of OT prophesies in the NT, doesn’t know what typology is and how OT is viewed through the lens of NT in covenant theology. I would love to see you two redo this, bring down the temperature and see his wordview tested in good faith. Who knows, maybe you’ll bring him to Christ. He gets very worked up when his theological worldview get challenged because on some level he probably realizes that it’s wholly inconsistent. Maybe the best way is to bring the temperature down and give him a way out instead of cornering him - which to your credit you did masterfully. This ties in to my larger criticism of you - as a someone who’s a huge fan of your work. You often hyperfocus on winning the debate instead of sharing your knowledge and display your unique ability to tie in Christian apologetics and culture. I think this might be an impediment to your growth as a political/theollgical commentator. Once you overcome that and shed the label of a “theological debate bro” i can see you ascending as a major figure

The year of patience was truly testing you in this debate. Tim made the slow boys look super sonic.

Tim’s blood pressure as you picked him apart:

W for Jay’s year of patience!! 😵💫🙌🏼

Tim literally had no intelligent recourse but to start parroting. Has no foundation or basis for anything he believes. Jay with another DOMINATING W ✅

Turbo-normie maxing. I look at Tim Pool and all I see is Dickie Dawkins in a beanie.

@BlueSkittel_ When people are confronted for the first time and it blasts their understanding at a paradigm level, they start to become incoherent and play stupid

Wow Tim embarrassed himself so many times. He has no clue what justification is. Got frustrated and started to mock becasue he couldn’t grasp it in real time.

I watched this on YouTube. Sincerely, this made me realize how foolish Tim is. I had thought he was smart enough to understand the diction of Dyer's questions.

All the worst of the worst qualities of Americanism on full display. Prideful arrogance and a make-it-up-as-you-go arbitrary relativistic cobbled together ad hoc incoherent and preposterous worldview.

I didn’t like this since Tim didn’t really understand what was being said at all.

Tim lost me at his ignorance of what a company town was

Man I feel bad for Tim.. The basic phil101 stuff going right over his head. He thinks Scientia and Sophia are the same thing. He’s stuck in the New Atheist, basic Empiricism. Thinking that explaining how something is, justifies why that is. They did this to an entire generation

Tim’s a covert lefty

He hates any label or logic lol… “give me my pre suppositions!!!”

You mopped the floor with that beanie baby

dude kudos on handling this guy's attitude, man alive that was tough to watch lmao

You were more tame than @paleochristcon was with Tim. I appreciate the little smirk you gave when you started to notice Tim getting emotional about picking and choosing which parts of Christianity that he likes.

It's frustrating, but I believe Tim needs you to breakdown the necessity for justification and what epistemology is. He's stuck in, "we agree so why argue at all". He doesn't seem to understand paradigmatic reasoning for oughts, as he is shopping for them adhering to preference

Tim was wayyyy out of his depth on this

Btw, I’m reading this book I heard you recommend when you were talking with @jakerattlesnk

I watch Tim Cast quite frequently and sometimes Tim just likes being a dick for no reason and over some meaning less point just to dominating his guest and letting them know he's the smartest one around. Luckily Jay Dyer played it cool and didnt lose his head. at least I think so. I turned it off because it was so painful to listen to.

Tim really is a douche bag. Part of the “controlled independent media” basically one of the faggy unpaid source for some bigger cooperate spy’s I imagine.
