The first test screening of "Ghostbusters" (1984) was done only 3 weeks after the filming was completed. There were about 200 university students who were raucous. Reitman felt the screening without special effects would reveal if the story and the humour really worked. In the scene where Sigourney Weaver opens the refrigerator, it only displayed "Scene Missing" and had grease pencil marks all over it. The audience groaned during the scenes but they also had a good time. The movie had 90% audience approval even without the special effects. The laughs were then joined by boos by the audience. Antonioni & Monica Vitti (who was sobbing) fled the theater. On the next day, a number of established writers and filmmakers published an open letter of support for the movie with signatures claiming it was the best film screened at Cannes. The film was cheered on the second screening by the audience and it went on to win the Jury Prize.

Our day in the Philippines with PAWS Philippines was laughter, games, new friendships, and a room full of people who showed up for the same reason: THE DOGS. None of it happens without the team behind it: volunteers, staff, and a partner whose work made the whole day possible. Baby Doge came for the dogs. Baby Doge left with more love than we brought 🐾❤️
