This batter hits a hard shallow liner into right field. The right fielder is charging and fires to first. The ball is overthrown and the runner looks but decides to stay at first. The catcher backed up the overthrown ball and throws to first and he rages the runner. The umpire calls him out and says he made an attempt to go to second base. I think he looked but I don’t see an attempt. He stayed in fouls territory the whole time. Just because his head looked doesn’t mean he made an attempt. 50/50 people saying he’s out for an attempt and others say no attempt, he should be safe. What’s your call? Safe or out? An attempt to second or no attempt?

I will never be in my mid 30’s, hanging out at a 19 year olds house. He was only doing this cause he once had what I had, but fucked it up and lost it all. Now he has to find another way to cope, and that coping mechanism is putting a 19 year old down to make himself feel up. In 14 years, when I’m his age, I will NEVER be acting like this💀

Daniel Jones took a leap in multiple ways last year, but the most notable: Pocket manipulation. There's a night and day difference b/w where he was in 2019-21 v 22-23. There's a calmness to how he now maneuvers w/in a pocket, specifically when under a quick pressure from a stunt up front. It was a bigger part of why the #Giants won games last year than most realize. He turned would-be negative dropbacks into +EV plays w/ his legs. #zhanglinghe #TheBestThing 🩺🌷 he suye always told others to love themselves more than anything else. but, is he also apply it to himself? yes. these two scenes makes me realize that that he knows his value so well and also know when to give up and move on. I love how the screenwriters didn't make his character ended as a "love brain" guy that will just love the FL without any reason. even if he's already been hurt. when he was rejected, he chose to stay away from sxf. it's not until sxf came to his house that he tried to open communication with her again. in 1st video below, he said that he will also end the relationship if he feels it doesn't spark happiness anymore. this is inline with his mother's hardships during marriage. she was trying to hold onto someone who didn't have the same amount of love and made her ended up loving alone and struggling alone. this is also the reason why he didn't propose to sxf. actually, after sxf gave him the ring and the way he said "I thought you will propose me", we know he already considering marriage. but it was only when she propose to him then he propose her right away. did he passively waiting? no. at one side, he waited for her to finally ready to marry him by her own willing. at the other side, he make sure that she also have the same amount of love so he will not end up being the one who has more love in this relationship. he make sure no one in this relationship will end up like his mother. the importance to love yourself before loving others. thanks he suye for this lesson🥹🫶🏻

Watch the difference in the practice swings and the shot. See the head dip & knee buckle? Have seen this from Lexi before. Can’t remember which major it was, but it was last season in the closing stages of the final round and tight lies. It’s a classic move from those who have anxiety with their pitching and are trying to help the ball in the air. I know it well. I had the chipping / pitching yips for a few years and was a complete mess. Head moving down & leaning back to the right shifts the low point of the club to an earlier spot. Club hits the ground too early. When you look at great pitchers they are usually shifting a little left, and slightly extending up after impact. Not dipping down and back. Imagine standing side on to the target and tossing to the landing spot with your trail arm. The dip down and knee buckle is completely at odds with how you would move. I am confident an expert short game coach could really help her with this. I reckon she is in the horrors mentally standing over these shots. No disrespect to Lexi, she’s obviously a great player. Yes, I’m just an armchair fan sitting on my couch 😎.

He was someone discriminated against in life who had to work all the harder to succeed - while the entertainment industry catered exactly to the exact types of people America did: rich, white men. Alastor wasn’t afforded ANY of that privilege, ESPECIALLY in the South. He started life that many systemic steps behind, while others he often interacted with had a head start. He learned that brilliance and talent was not always protection, not when his legitimacy was withheld, how his voice could be celebrated while his body remained suspect, his presence tolerated only when disembodied and entertaining. So what did he do? He made sure that he wouldn’t start in the afterlife at the bottom. He conducted rituals, murders, research - all to reach the other side, and essentially plan his OWN head start. Even in his dialogue, the reference to “I know what awaits a man like me,” “exist in Hell a tortured soul,” “I want to secure myself amongst the highest demons” — all can be read as metaphors of counter-containment and oppression. Alastor is far aware of how he is received in spaces on Earth, and how he wants to secure himself much higher & outside of those preconceptions - his own special privilege. Let’s not forget this critical part to Alastor’s character - it gives further context to how we see him navigate his afterlife. He has already lived inside hierarchies that assign punishment in advance, and he refuses to let that happen again.

I’m late to this, but I see both sides of the coin here. On one, of course Kyle Fletcher’s gonna be bummed by getting screwed out of his big stadium moment in front of his family while his anxiety levels were at an all-time high. On the other, I wish he included more context as to why that happened and what happened to Adam Cole, as well as the fact that he may never wrestle again and how that was announced on the day of All In, because it makes complete sense as to why that happened when you take everything into account. Also, I can’t believe I’m saying this again but please walk with me on this one: ADAM. COLE. DID. NOT. GET. HURT. ON. THAT. FUCKING. POWERBOMB. YOU. IMBECILES. This statement by Morgan Wallen at is Chicago show ruffled the feathers of a lot fans back in Pittsburgh. Wallen was in Chicago playing at Soldier Field where it was raining. He says to the crowd “ I just wanna say that it is raining right now and we gonna’ play through it” and kind of chuckles. Many took that as a slight to Pittsburgh where he canceled his show due to weather concerns but which ended up being a beautiful night there when the concert would have started. A lot of fans in Pittsburgh are wondering why he didn’t “play through” there when it ended up not raining at all. 🤔 Many said they still haven’t received their refund and wondered why he wouldn’t just reschedule. Deputy Todd Frazier was driving through a rural road in Mississippi when he noticed a car sitting in the dark, lights off. Something didn't feel right. He stopped to check. As he approached, he saw a man inside. Just a routine welfare check... until everything changed. Out of nowhere, two more men rushed from the bushes. It was an ambush. Frazier was dragged toward the woods, beaten, outnumbered, with no backup in sight. In those seconds, things could have ended very differently. But he managed to do one thing. He hit his key fob. Inside the patrol vehicle, his K-9 partner Lucas was waiting. A Belgian Malinois trained for moments exactly like this. The door opened. Lucas didn't hesitate. He sprinted straight into the darkness toward the struggle. No fear. No pause. Just instinct and loyalty. Within seconds, he engaged one of the attackers. The entire situation flipped. The men, caught off guard, panicked... and ran. Just like that, the ambush was over. Both Frazier and Lucas were injured that night. But they made it out alive. And Frazier has never been unclear about why. "He saved my life." Lucas was later honored as Hero of the Year by the Brookhaven Animal League Rescue. When Will Smith comes up in the first inning and hits this ball, I’m thinking 'This is not good' because if it gets over the head of Jung Hoo Lee, that’s 3 runs. They’re all gonna score in our opinion. JHL makes this great play. He backs up against the wall, comes up and gets the ball so quickly back into the infield that the runners at first and second can’t advance. That inning could have completely blown up. Houser got some confidence in that. He gets out of the inning and goes in the next inning and strikes out the side. It was huge to not only calm that inning, but to give Houser some confidence. my dad retired at 59. I’ll still be working at 59. He had a pension. I have a 401k I fund when I can afford to. He bought his house at 28. I’m 31 staring at a down payment I can’t touch. He paid $90 a month for health insurance. I pay $430 for a plan that still left me with a $3,200 bill last year. Last Sunday he looked across the dinner table and said: “You just need to be smarter with money son.” I smiled. Didn’t mention the economy he thrived in doesn’t exist anymore. Didn’t mention I’m funding his Social Security while mine gets gutted. Didn’t mention the ladder he climbed got pulled up the second he reached the top. Didn’t mention I followed his exact blueprint and ended up somewhere completely different. Just said “I know dad.” Cut my chicken.
